- During the events of the TSL Summer Resort, it was revealed his real name and identity is "Ash". He inherited his brother name and identity, "Seth", as a promise to him. Ash has a strong bond with his brother and gets emotional whenever he talks or thinks about him, though he quickly denies it in embarrassment to the protagonist and the people around him.
- The original Seth (also known as Set) is part of the 23 souls that the Protagonist possess.
- In Egyptian mythology, Ash is a god of oases who was closely associated with Set or thought to be another name for him.
- Seth comes off as tough and conceited, though he is a tsundere and hesitant at times. He shows himself to being a nerd about oases and deserts along with his interest in conquering things. During the events of Desert Journey, he develops into a better person thanks to spending time with Hanuman, Ganglie and the Protagonist, although he still tries to act tough every now and then.
- Ironically, he picks up the hobby of surfing from Ganglie despite having a fear of swimming during the events of Money Makers! The Beachside Hut and Andvara Falls.
