Yamasachihiko is from the world of Takamagahara, while Ixbalanque hails from El Dorado. They dash along the early-summer mountain trails while bragging about their older brothers, neither slowing their pace for a moment. Both of them deftly dodge every branch and rock as they breathe in the fresh summer air, understanding each other a little more with each step through the wilderness. Ixbalanque's brother, of whom he is very proud, has a name which means, ""one who hunts with a blowgun."" Hearing Yamasachihiko describe his shameful failure and how he also had a brother he looked up to, Ixbalanque feels a strange sense of nostalgia tugging upward on the corners of his lips."

共に狙いをつける腕は上々、胸に吸い込む初夏の空気はとても爽やか。
未舗装路を走る彼らは、お互いを少しずつ理解していく。
イシュバランケーには猟師という意味の名をもつ自慢の兄がいる。
同じく憧れの兄を持ちながらも失態をおかしてしまったヤマサチヒコの話を聞いて、どこか懐かしさを感じつつ笑みがこぼれてゆく。
