"This woodland nymph Transient from Olympus studies music at Daikanyama Academy in Shibuya Ward. She was once rendered incapable of starting conversations with other people by a deeply jealous person, and this is why, even after coming to Tokyo, she has trouble talking freely and still tends to repeat the words of others. What's more, this punishment caused her to lose her first love, and she still regrets having failed to save the object of her affections. Unused as she is to negating the remarks of others, she is easily influenced by the emotions of those around her and tends to blame herself and hold herself accountable for every little thing. However, she is also aware of these damaging tendencies and is endeavoring to improve herself in her own way. In fact, since coming to Tokyo, she has resolved to change, a decision which led her to take an interest in the various cultures around her, as well as to put her skills with audio equipment to good use by joining the school's broadcasting club."

A Transient originating from the world of Olympus and a wood nymph. She's studying music over at Shibuya Ward's Daikanyama Academy. Due to a certain event from long ago she was punished by a deeply jealous person, so she was forbidden from initiating conversations with others. As a result of that she still has trouble with speaking to others even after being summoned to Tokyo, and she has a deeply ingrained habit of repeating words that have been spoken to her. This punishment is why she lost her first love, and on top of that she holds deep regrets for having been unable to save her love. Echo is poor at standing up for herself so she tends to get carried away by the current mood, tends to blame herself, and feels responsible for many things. She feels that she cannot stay like this so she is working hard to better herself in this regard. Since coming to Tokyo she takes an interest in various cultures due to wanting to change herself, and as she excels at handling various acoustic tools she is part of a broadcasting committee.

"The regrets she bore for being unable to speak her mind took shape when she came to Tokyo, forming a Sacred Artifact that looks something like a collar but is actually an Amplifier. As she is the bearer of the Rule of Repetition, her Sacred Artifact serves to amplify her words, even when whispered, allowing them to be heard far and wide. However, this Rule sometimes disrupts her surroundings and even dilutes her presence. The crushing loss of the object of her affections has instilled within her a deep-seated admiration for love and romance. She yearns to devote herself wholeheartedly to the one she loves but lacks the confidence to do so, leaving her stuck in a fruitless cycle that often makes those around her cringe. She has a bad habit of blindly adoring those she likes, yet at the same time harbors a strong dislike for jealous types and people who force their opinions onto others. Although very reserved in manner, she is in fact a fan of hard rock music, and it is dual aspects of her personality such as these that reflect her simultaneously held desires to both change and hide who she really is. She tends to unconsciously avoid the bovine incarnation of a certain dreaded foe of her past."

As Echo carries regrets for not being able to express herself well, her blossoming since coming to Tokyo is due to the audio system Sacred Artifact that looks like a necklace. It has the power of Repetition and can carry her words ever farther, meaning even Echo's quiet whispers can repeat until the echo into ever farther and ever spacious places. However, this power sometimes causes disturbances where she is and makes her stand out less. Perhaps as a reaction to her severe case of broken heart in the past, she has a deep yearning for love and wants to attend to her object of affection with dedication. While this is going on, she races forward as she feels she cannot put it into practice from nothing, so she often makes people around her think that love is a heavy thing. Echo also has a side of her that has a bad habit of blindly yearning for someone that she feels good about, so she has a very poor opinion of people prone to jealousy or those who push their ideas onto her. She has a hobby of listening to relatively intense rock music with reserved ambiences, but this can display both her thoughts of wanting to change her lack of confidence in herself and her desire to hide herself. Echo has an unconscious tendency to avoid the cow that is the avatar of the one she fears.

Notes
- In classical Greek mythology, Echo is an Oread, a type of nymph that lives in mountains. Echo specifically residing in Mt. Cithaeron. Her name comes from the Greek word for "sound".
- In Metamorphoses by Ovid, Echo aided in distracting Juno (Hera in Greek mythology) while Jupiter (Zeus in Greek mythology) was out having affairs in the mortal realm. When Hera found out, set a curse on Echo to be only able to speak words she has recently heard from others.
- In the same book, Echo fell infatuated with Narcissus. In one of his walks through the woods, Narcissus sensed that he was being followed. Echo, only being able to repeat words she hears, was only able to commune with Narcissus with the words he kept shouting to ask the person to show themselves. Echo eventually revealed herself and tried to embrace him but was denied and was told to leave him alone. Heartbroken, Echo fled humiliated and ashamed but her love for Narcissus never waned.
- Her relationship with Hera is mentioned in her Research Files, with "the bovine incarnation" being a reference to the goddess's common epithet boōpis, or "cow-eyed".
- Her Sacred Artifact amplifier is themed around the daffodil which belongs in the genus Narcissus and speakers that appear as miniature fairies that facilitate her voice.
- The flower is named so due to Narcissus being cursed by Nemesis, the goddess of revenge, after hearing Echo's story. Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection and eventually wasted away longing over it, eventually turning into a gold and white flower.
- Echo's Charge Skill line Amantes Amentes is an alternative way of saying "Amantes sunt amentes" from Latin by the Roman comic playwright Publius Terentius Afer. It means "Lovers are lunatics/crazy" as an indication of how maddening Echo's unrequited love was for Narcissus.
