Overview

Adapted with permission from the Housamo Gameplay-Based Tier List. Remove this disclaimer when Overview is sufficiently modified.

Bringing unexpected novelty to the table, Seth comes with a different skill set than usual besides having a brand-new, yet situational buff and introducing a new kind of attack instance. His Default remains mostly a bonus that serves if he’s somehow under a scarce amount of ailments, but it cannot erase ones that’ll shut him down. LB2 comes with the currently unique and new attack instance, where he’s discouraged from hitting things to reach his Charge faster, but don’t forget to apply Curse first in order to assist his allies. LB3 is a bit tricky, but it’ll help considerably shut-down his aggressors and protect himself and his allies from future damage similar to Bind’s sheer shutdown power. Don’t forget that he’s almost purely defensive due to his element and attack type combined making for one of the worst damage potential in the game, which limits what he can do in a few ways. Overall, he brings a lot of novelty, but at the same time some of said novelty can be subpar at best, which can play against his usability.

Class: Defensive Support

Gameplay role:

Pros

+ Anchored allows allies and himself to hold ground against obnoxious aforementioned effects.

+ Curse on attack helps his allies by reducing damage taken, which greatly synergizes with his LB3.

+ LB3 Skill Seal along with Curse and Protection make for a particularly great shutdown from enemy attacks, very comparable to Bind, yet different in execution.

+ Charge allows his allies to benefit of maximum defensive momentum thanks to Evasion as well as a heal to him.

Cons

- By far, one of the worst damage output in the game due to the combination of his element and attack range, pushing him into a completely defensive role.

- Anchored doesn’t see any effect outside of what it can do, which limits its viability.

- LB2 encourages him not to hit anything, but at the same time he needs to hit things in order to have Curse up.
