"""Gwahahaha! Be my love, Christine, or I shall devour this whole rotten world!"" ""Oh, pitiable monster who lives in the dark, you know not what life is or what it offers! Let me be your mask and become that which hides you!""
There is a poetry to the monster cast out from society, and the love and solitude present in its soul resonates with the audience, bringing them to tears. They hear the songs, the screams, and the sadness that none had known before. Much like his character, as long as our actor hides behind the mask of Imox while performing on stage, someone will watch him. This is the tale of the monster who lives under the opera stage and the human who extends to him a loving hand."
