| Ruler of the Kingdom of Midgard, which exists in a land of swords and sorcery. He is roughly speaking the only survivor of the royal family that governs the land with a name that means "enclosed in the center." He is a kind and gentle person, which is to say he has a personality ill-suited for being a king. Claus was the type to administrate while trusted by other officials like the bishop of the kingdom's religion. Presently, he is sharing his body with his dearly departed older brother who now acts as a guardian spirit. For some reason his spiritual form appears as how he would have grown to be in the future had he lived. Meanwhile, his brother's body is being used as a vessel by some demon king overlord's virtual personality. This demon king would be Ahriman, someone who is supposed to be in Garothman. He evokes something similar to sympathy from another staff wielding Transient whose fate is linked to a demon king.

| 剣と魔法の冒険世界にある、ミッドガルドという国の王様。「中央の囲い」を意味する同国の王家の中で、ほぼ唯一の生き残り。温和で優しく、のんびりとした個人としてはあまり君主向きとはされにくい性格。国教の司教など、共存する別の組織指導者から信頼され執政を行うタイプだった。現在は、幼くして世を去った兄の人格が守護精霊として肉体に共存する状態となっている。その霊的な姿は何故か、あるはずのない「未来の成長した姿」となっているようだ。一方、幼少のままの兄の身体は、とある魔王の仮想人格の器として別に使われている。魔王の名はアーリマン、本来は異世界ガローデマーンにいるはずの存在であった。同じ杖使いにして、同魔王との因縁を持つ「転光生」から、共感に似た感情を寄せられている。

| Claus possesses a holy staff Sacred Artifact that is one of the family treasures of the Midgard royal family that was buried in the royal cemetery and subsequently dug up. It used to briefly belong to the World Representative Odin, who held countless different roles. When Claus uses it, it can bring about the miracle of divine protection around himself. And just like other Sacred Artifacts, its power manifests differently according to their role. If someone else were to use it, the staff could reflect curses and cancel out spells. This staff was supposed to go to his brother, who has since died from a politically motivated battle. Claus's kingdom Midgard was once a land shut in by the Closer Loki when he created his experimental being Jormungandr to wrap it up for a test. The old king of another world is apparently uncomfortable with Claus since he reminds him of his not-very-kingly son.

| 聖なる魔法の杖の「神器」。ミッドガルド王家の墓地に埋葬され、やがて掘り出された家宝のひとつ。かつて、無数の「役割」を持った「世界代行者」オーディンが一時、所有していた。クラウスが使用した場合は、周囲に魔法の加護を与える奇跡を示すようだ。他の「神器」と同様に、それぞれの「役割」に応じた「権能」を顕す。別の者が使った場合、呪い返しや、魔法のキャンセルも出来るらしい。政治を巻き込んだ骨肉の争いにより、本来この杖を継ぐはずだったきょうだいを失っている。クラウスが王として治めるミッドガルドはかつて、「閉ざす者」ロキによって囲われた大地。彼が生み出した実験体ヨルムンガンドによってぐるっと囲われた試験閉鎖領域である。別の異世界の老王からは「王らしからぬ自分の息子に似ている」と苦手意識を持たれたらしい。
