- Bathym is a demon in the Ars Goetia of the Lesser Key of Solomon. He is titled as a Duke of Hell and commands thirty legions.[1][2]
- He is ranked 18th in the Ars Goetia.
- Bathym in the book is depicted as a muscular man riding on a pale horse and has a tail in the form of a serpent and has knowledge with plants and stones.
- In his Character Quest, he revealed that he had a rare blue horse in Gehenna and has also stated that he has a love for jewelry and herbology.
- His rule allows Bathym instantaneous teleportation, which is taken from the Ars Goetia where the demon Bathym could teleport people across countries.
- Bathym's charge skill "Hathaninim Hagadolim" translates to "Great Reptile" from Hebrew, which is in reference to the serpent that is his tail.[3]
- Bathym's fighting style is based on Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.
- While most characters in the game adjust the honorific used to address the player by their chosen gender, Bathym uses -chan for Male, Female and Other alike.
