Volos is a Transient studying agriculture in Tokyo, while Shennong is a Transient widely knowledgeable in medical pharmaceuticals. The latter, with his bad habit of putting just about anything in his mouth, gives the former a warm time as he tears through his experimental farm. Still, they both have a heartfelt desire to see what new strains of plants and seeds can be cultivated in this intersection of worlds known as Tokyo—though their reasons differ. This is why the two get together on occasion to share knowledge and insight in hopes of creating wondrous new life. Both bear Sacred Artifacts of heroes cast out from their respective home worlds. Yet, none of that which he inherited is apparent in this farm. They simply tend to their greenery with joyful smiles, as always, hoping that their cooperation will one day bear great fruit in this land. "

「へえ、こいつが例の品種改良したって奴かい？ どうれ、一口……ぺっぺっ、不味い！」
「ちょ、ちょっと、新種をいきなり口に入れたら駄目ですよっ、シンノウさん……ああっ？」
東京にて農学を修める「転光生」ヴォーロス。
そして、医学薬学に精通する「転光生」シンノウ。
何でも口に入れる悪癖を持つシンノウが、実験農場の作物を食べヴォーロスを慌てさせる。
彼らは目的こそ違えど草木や種子を好み、この東京でまだ見ぬ新種と出会うことを望んでいる。
故に、こうして互いの知見を交換するため、しばしば交流を図っていたりするのだ。
２人が持つ「神器」、それはいつか、どこかの英雄が持っていた品々。
共に、かつて故郷の異世界から追放された英雄、その後継者たち。
だが今、この農場ではそんな側面を表に出さず、シンノウとヴォーロスは今日も緑に囲まれ穏やかに笑う。
いつか、この「縁」が東京の地に大輪の花を咲かせますように。
