Translated from Japanese Bathym is a Transient who prides himself on his title of Number 2 as the servant of the Emperor of Hell Shaitan. He considers himself the next in line, but he's also number 18 under King Solomon's hierarchy and respects that. If his summoner can prove themselves a worthy successor to either of those two superiors, then Bathym's vocal tones will carry a current of 100% loyalty. His wish is to be seen, and as a demon he lives on the praise and worship of others (AKA their attention). Normally he does so as a Berserker in the Ikebukuro Underground Arena, and at certain times he does it as a nightclub dancer. This time he's sublimated the leg techniques he's proud of into breakdancing and showers himself in attention on the dance floor. If the master he once served as number 2 were to be with him, then his footwork will get even fancier. It's no exaggeration that among the demons of Gehenna there is no one captivate themselves as well as Bathym. Next time he goes to the nightclub, the dance floor might turn into his big stage to show himself off to his old superior. That's not the only reason he goes clubbing though, as he also likes spending time leaning back at the lounge's bar counter. • Bathym is a demon in the Ars Goetia of the Lesser Key of Solomon. He is titled as a Duke of Hell and commands thirty legions.
  • He is ranked 18th in the Ars Goetia.
  • Bathym in the book is depicted as a muscular man riding on a pale horse and has a tail in the form of a serpent and has knowledge with plants and stones.
    • In his Character Quest, he revealed that he had a rare blue horse in Gehenna and has also stated that he has a love for jewelry and herbology.
  • His rule allows Bathym instantaneous teleportation, which is taken from the Ars Goetia where the demon Bathym could teleport people across countries.
• Bathym's charge skill "Hathaninim Hagadolim" translates to "Great Reptile" from Hebrew, which is in reference to the serpent that is his tail.

• Bathym's fighting style is based on Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.
• While most characters in the game adjust the honorific used to address the player by their chosen gender, Bathym uses -chan for Male, Female and Other alike.
• In The New Champion of Christmas, he has collaborated with the development of a makeup line and an aesthetic salon.
• In his Character Quest, he mentions of a "ranked 12" demon that gave his rank to his son; this is a reference to how Sitri received his father's rank as revealed in the 2019 Christmas event.
