Translated from Japanese Arslan is a (self-proclaimed) great adventurer that is the (self-proclaimed) lead of many tales. And now the seaside school event he's been waiting for has sadly been cancelled due to the commotion of the killer ocean animal horror movie incident. With the fun of summer taken from him, he now has enough reason to set out, and thus did the famed lion king sneak out of Daikanyama to the land of adventure in AndvaResort. Sometimes he causes problems, and sometimes he uses his experience from his long service to help his friends past tough spots. And Arslan knows romance will bloom in an adventure before he begins a new adventure for the sake of love, just like he experienced in his younger days. If this were a killer shark movie, Arslan would totally be the be the brave and determined protagonist. However, that position also comes with a lot of tense close call scenes as a matter of course, and all he can do is pray he not get caught in a shark trap cage. At the end of summer when the next classic protagonist who pursued him arrives, he'll confess his special feelings.

Connecting back to Aslan for a moment: He's not from Christian mythos, he is a fictional character written by C.S. Lewis for his novel series Chronicles of Narnia, although Aslan is heavily implied to be an avatar of God (such as creating Narnia with just his voice in MN, death and resurrection to save the kids in LWW, and even asking the kids to know him by his other name in their world in VDT). Lewis was one of the greatest minds of his time, so he probably named Aslan after Amir Arsalan, or maybe just used Arsalan as a base for the name.

He is, more or less. Aslan from Narnia is based on Aslan the lion in Christian Mythos. It's more so there's no direct translation of Aslan in Japanese and

ar-sa-lan is the closest it gets.

This theory maybe not really important but since I was really obsessed with his beautiful turquoise cape color, I just going to spill it First let's start with his name, Arsalan, for me, it was pretty close with "aslan" word. Which means lion in Turkish language. And yeah, he was a lion

And for the last thing, the cape, which has turquoise color, possibly have strong relations with Turkey. Because "turquoise" itself is taken from the French word for "Turkey", considering the color comes from Turkey (turquoise stone)
