"He attends an academy in Ueno popular among Therian transients, particularly the furry type. He's a bit of a crybaby, but his usual cheerful and very friendly nature makes him very likeable. Before he was summoned, he was kept as a guard dog by the fairy Gruagach, who was Cu Sith's Summoner, but also his father, brother, and irreplaceable family. However, his former master is now nowhere to be found."

"The Sacred Artifact given to Cu Sith is a Scarf with a prayer for his happiness woven into it and a Rule that brings good fortune. The memories of his previous master are warm and always bring tears to his eyes, along with a little howling when he thinks of them during sad times. Cu Sith's howls have the power of eliciting empathy. When people hear those sad cries, their aggressive impulses are suppressed. The third cry, however, will become physical shockwave that blasts all who are within range."

Cu Sith's sacred and most treasured possession is his scarf; knit by Guraghach as a lucky charm, with a prayer that his soft-hearted guardian live a happy life. When alone, the sight of the scarf sometimes brings him back to memories of living with his former lord, the good times and the bad, and he can't stop the tears from welling up. Cu Sith's voice has the ability to resonate with emotions; those who hear it with ill intent in their heart are forcibly repelled. The third howl creates a powerful physical shock capable of blowing away almost anything.

"Super excited for the Halloween Party at his school, Cu Sith is dressed up as a werewolf. He just can't wait to trick or treat for some candy! However, whether the Halloween atmosphere got to him or he was inspired by his friend, the Black Dog, he took that image to heart and now looks just like the Black Dog... In other words, he's taken on the form of that dog buried in a shallow grave and left behind, considered to be the messenger of death... but that doesn't change his true nature as a guard dog for children."

The Summon Cu Sith who has come to the festival dressed as a werewolf. He is completely excited by the festive atmosphere within the school grounds. He's bracing himself to go trick or treating for candy. Whether it's because Halloween has filled him with a strange energy or the influence of his black dog acquaintance, his appearance unmistakably that of a black dog ghost. In other words the one first buried in a graveyard, the dark fey dog fated to be left alone and messenger of death. And yet still, his true nature as a guard dog that protects children will not change.

Scenarios
Notes
- Cu Sith's character borrows heavily from the mythological creatures of Scottish legend called Cu Sith (also Cú Sídhe in Irish legends). Like the character, Cu Siths were depicted as guardians to mounds from which they live and are said to be gateways to the fae realm.
- Sith (alternate spellings are Sídhe and Sí depending on region) is a name attached to creatures that were often associated with the supernatural. It can be loosely understood to mean "fairy" but it is more closely translated to "of the mound" as the "sidhe" were the name of the mounds that dot Irish landscape and were often believed to be the the entry way to a different world.
- Cu Sith's name could be loosely translated to "Fairy Dog"; in a similar manner to Cait Sith (Fairy Cat) and Leannan Sidhe (Fairy Lover).
- Cu Sith's charge skill "Third Howling" is a reference to a well-known aspect of Cu Siths, the creatures would hunt silently for their prey and would let out three blood-curdling howls that could be heard from miles away. If a person does not reach safety upon hearing the third howl, they would be stricken with fear to the point of death.
- In I Ain't Scared a No Halloween!, Cu Sith's howl has the latent power of bringing people to his side by extreme empathy, which he only discovers in this event.
- Part of the Beast Tamers and is partnered with Leib as his "tamer" while Cu Sith is the "beast".
- The guild partnership system is based on transients that could nullify dangerous Rules or abilities with their own. Cu Sith's ability to cause death or heavy damage with his howls are negated by Leib's Rule of displacing damage and death onto trees nearby thereby preventing it from harming anyone.
- His title of "Black Dog" is a reference to a creature of the same name found primarily in the folklore of the British Isles and is often associated with death in European myths due to the scavenging nature of dogs.
- The Black Dog referred to in Cu Sith's research file may be referring to Garmr who along with other creatures in European mythology, such as Barguest (English) and Cerberus (Greek), are often referred to as "black dogs".
- Alice suggests Garmr and Cu Sith may have similar Roles.
- Cu Sith is seemingly based on the Golden Retriever breed of dogs that were originally bred in Scotland and are considered professional guard dogs.
- In his Summonpedia page, it is noted that his former master was Gruagach meaning "long-haired one", they are sometimes seen as a giant or ogre and they would aid humans in work often involving cattle. They are often associated with Brownies in British folklore.
