Translated from Japanese A rowdy man notorious throughout Tokyo who freely wields a massive naginata, his Hallowed Artifact, with inhuman strength. Abandoned as a child, Oniwaka was taken in and raised at a nearby shrine, and his life among the monks make up his earliest memories; he recalls nothing about his birth parents. Despite his upbringing, he's become a very rough-and-tumble man and is quick to pick fights. Since the rise in violent incidents due to users of the summoning app, Oniwaka has taken up "app hunting", tracking down and taking out users who abuse their newfound powers.

Haunted by grief, the stray ogre braces himself to survive, and reaches his hand out to the unattainable. What he grasps is a blade beyond his reach; one blade made of 23, which can sever even distance. In one of those 23 blades lies the memory of a long-ago duel on a large bridge, when it could have been claimed as the last in a collection of a thousand swords. Though they be of the same ilk, Oniwaka distances himself from other ogres who were raised surrounded by their brethren."

Translated from Japanese To take on countless hostilities with his whole body. And yet it it couldn't be stopped, so he grieved his master's suicide by the sword and followed after him. That is the fate decided upon by his Role. The stray oni has resolved to go to that end within himself. His hand reaches out for the place he cannot reach, and he grabs the blade that didn't arrive. That is the 23 blades that cut intervals. The knowledge to turn that into one. One day he will have that confrontation on top of the big bridge where he might have taken his thousandth blade, and that is an expression of possibilities. While they may be onis like himself, he keeps his distance from the many brethren that surrounded and were raised with him.

Oniwaka joined the Summoners though. So why is he still listed as a Berserker? In the Setsuban event and the beach event he mentioned that he joined the protagonists guild but he avoids being with the others besides MC
