Notes

• He is based on Ægir, the jötunn who personizes the sea in Norse mythology.
• His Sacred Artifact first appeared in LifeWonders' previous game, Fantastic Boyfriends as a weapon to be used by Gordon. Despite it has the exact same design and the name of the weapon surely claiming it was Aegir's, it is uncertain if there is a relation here.
• His Charge Skill line, Gymir Sumbl, is a reference to Gymir, a jötunn who might be the same figure with Ægir, and sumbl, an old Norse term meaning "feast".
  • It also references the wife of the giant Ægir, Rán, also the personification of the seas, for the Norse, and how she was, allegedly, fond of laying nets to catch the men who sailed the seas.
• Curiously, even though all of Aegir's lines refer to drowning people, and getting their belongings, it was Rán who represented this sinister side of the sea for the Norse, while Ægir personified the sea as a friendly power.
