{{#vardefine:transient jp en research file|}} | {{#vardefine:transient jp en research file|It is said that one of the origins of Tsukuyomi's name comes from the Japanese phrase "reading the moon." Tsukuyomi has touched up on other world astrology in Tokyo as a method of entertaining his guests as a host club host, studying horoscopes, tarot cards, and other methods. He likens one's fate to the movement of the stars, and sometimes he uses cards to see all of creation. Tsukuyomi has also thought that organization sounds like the relationship between him and his siblings as described by others. His little brother and big sister opposed each other in the past and went their separate ways. What if he and his brother's places were switched? What if the distance between his siblings were different from how they originally were? Maybe his beloved brother wouldn't have been exiled from their home world then. The shadows or yin of the brilliant memories flowing from his artifact spur his thoughts as he quietly observes the world of Tokyo. If he can't walk beneath the sun, then he can just live in the world of moonlit nights. He believes the exiled and holders of shadows can have a home and make a world they can live in. But should that world hypothetically come to be, it would be unclear whether Tsukuyomi would still exist in Tokyo.}} | ||

Event (Shop) | Line |
Open Shop | Nice to meet you, this is Tsukuyomi, your attendant for today. Would you like to drink something? Anything good in mind? |
Close Shop | Going home already? I’ll be happy if you’ll be feeling alright. Then, please come again ♥ |
Greeting | How are you, Owner? Tonight is the night for a splendid rabbit to show up. Would you like to come play with me for some time? |
Encouraging | If the new moon is shaded, the full moon will shine brightly. So, today, I ’ll be shining again, and you’ll be shining again for me soon, won’t you, kitten? |
Touched | Oops! I want the touching to end for now. Sto- hey- Stop it! Hahaha! Just lay down and leave it at that for now. |
Conversation (1) | The moon calls the moon. That just how I am. So, whenever I’ve had troubles, I’ve never retaliated. When I realized, I stopped… Just stopped, though… |
Conversation (2) | I feel a somewhat deep connection with the Owner. I'm sure there’s something familiar with you...Could it be you were a customer from the era when I was a host?! Of course, that’s probably wrong, isn’t it? |
About Self | Hmm. What’s so important about me? I’m the Number One in the night of Kabukicho. Simply that kind of rabbit, you know? The rest, is just a mysterious secret. |
About Someone (1) | For this kind of business, you can’t just do pretty words and that’s it. For my own good luck, I need a “knife” I can use, don’t you think? Among those, we have a shining star…, that child. |
About Someone (2) | What is wrong with that bear?! All the misery and unhappiness he drags around! Just accepting that misfortune!? Good luck doesn’t just walk around!! I would really like it if someone told him that. |
About Someone (3) | Oh! I got an eye out for that child. I like his attitude, and it’s the same as their brother. They also kind of smell like the underworld too, isn’t it? |
About Someone (4) | Ah! You’ve met my sister. Even if she looks frail, when it comes down toit, she’s quite fierce. Be careful when you’re about to touch her. Hehehe. |
About Event | Hello and welcome to Kabukicho’s Night Castle! I wonder, will it be alright, if I comfort you tonight? |

Notes
- Based on the Shinto Moon God Tsukuyomi-No-Mikoto.
- Unlike Greco-Roman mythologies, Shinto portrays their moon deity as a male.
- Tsukuyomi bears a strong resemblance to Miharu, the main character in Kijima Hyogo's manga series Shigatu Kissa no Himitsu no Jiklenbo (Cafe April's Secret Case Book); both characters are also hosts.
