He dreams of creating a utopia where all children, good and naughty alike, can regress to naivety. Whenever the snowy Christmas season rolls around, Koropokkur thinks again of old times when the humans of his homeworld never finished building their civilization and had friendly relationships. Koropokkur's people would take the handicrafts and luxuries humans made and exchange them for nature's gifts of fresh meat and fish placed by their pillows. This exchange went on until adults came in contact with the world's taboo. Right now, Koropokkur is wondering what would be a good Christmas gift as Tokyo decorates for the holiday. He liked sneakily watching people light up in smiles from the shadows. An old sense of exaltation and hope filled him again as he imagines how his gift recipient might react to it.}} | |||
