He was seen as destruction incarnate in the world he hailed from. Translated from Japanese A visitor from another realm with a powerful, four armed body and a stubborn, inflexibly hard head who despises chaos and disorder. In the world he originally came from he was known as an Avatar of Destruction, one who would end the world. When he was first summoned to Tokyo he was infuriated by the disarray he beheld and resolved to destroy this wretched world as well, until he was hit by Cupid's arrow. For the first time, he felt what love was like, and his heart softened. Kalki has a strict, austere personality, but he has stayed his hand in destroying the world because of this love, not wishing to be separated from the object of his affection.

Translated from Japanese His Sacred Artifact is his scimitar, which shines with heavenly light and the power to cleanse filth and corruption. Kalki himself realizes that there is no such thing as a pure, incorruptible world, and therefore every world must eventually be destroyed, but he has sealed away most of his power. Because love is such a new sensation to him, his views on romance and affection are strangely innocent, and even now he feels a sense of fondness for the person who first stoked that flame within him.

Official English "Kalki finds himself troubled by different impulses of late, ones that do not involve wishing to destroy the world. He has come to work as a sales attendant in Cafe Asterim, which happens to be running an event with the Santa School. Though he had agreed to it under Shinya's request, a certain emotion bubbles within as he works. The moment it threatens to burst out and he finds himself unable to express it, a turning point arrives. Kalki's original Role and purpose is to cast out the accumulation of the world's shadows. His role as a destroyer has granted him a deep connection with Mahakala, who has also been summoned to Tokyo. He is also an individual who takes great joy in fulfilling the duties others expect and wish of him. Kalki is rather close to the academic upper crust of Daikanyama Academy in Shibuya."

Translated from Japanese Recently Kalki seems to have been afflicted with impulses that aren't about destroying the world. In that state, Kalki will be working as a salesboy at Café Asterism that's co-sponsoring a certain event at the Santa School this time. If Shinya requests it then he'll agree, and as he splits up his work into smaller pieces, certain feelings accumulate. He's now reached a turning point from the time it was spilling all over and he had no idea of how to express it. By nature he possesses the Role of exterminating the shades gathered by the World, otherwise known as the Shadows. Kalki carries a deep connection to the Great Darkness who was also summoned to Tokyo from that state of being. He's the type who feels great joy in accomplishing the duties sought of him by those around him. He has close relationships with his honor student friends in Shibuya's Daikanyama Academy.

Official Japanese 最近、世界を破壊するという衝動とはまた違う、別の衝動に悩まされているらしいカルキ。そんな彼が今回、サンタスクールのとあるイベントの「共催」としてカフェ・アステリズムで売り子として働くこととなった。シンヤの頼みであればと承諾したものの、仕事をこなす内、次第にとある感情が積み重なっていく。それが完全に溢れ出た時、その感情を体現する術を知らぬ彼に転機が訪れることとなるのであった。本来の彼は、「世界」に蓄積された影、すなわち「魔」を駆逐する者としての「役割」を持つ。その在り方から、同じくこの東京に転光している「大いなる黒」との深い因縁を帯びている。周囲から自らへと求められる義務を果たすことに、大きな喜びを覚えるタイプ。渋谷・代神山学園の優等生仲間たちとは親しい交流がある。
