"A Transient hailing from the world of Xanadu, Avarga has found employment in Tokyo as an instructor and wrestling coach at Yoyogi Academy in Shibuya. His skills are widely respected in the city's martial arts circles, and he maintains strong ties to other schools specializing in close-quarters combat. While he was originally human, he now shares a body with the divine bird Khangarid, as evidenced by the feathers that constantly flutter about him. The monstrous strength he possesses is extraordinary even by Xanadu standards; if legends are to be believed, he once wrestled a great dragon to the ground with his bare hands. He is well-liked by his students for his affable, roguish demeanor, but a very different and far more intimidating side comes to the fore when angered... such as by a certain teacher at Daikanyama Academy, whom he views as his mortal rival."

Transient from the world of Xanadu. He is a teacher in Shibuya Ward's Yoyogi Academy as well as its wrestling team coach. He is also a champion at Mongolian wrestling, Bökh. His abilities are well known by the martial artists in Tokyo, and he has extensive networkings with other schools of mixed martial arts. His body was originally supposed to be human, but now it's fused with the sacred bird Khangarid. The feathers that fall around him are former traces of it. He was unrivaled in physical strength even in his home world, and it is said that he once tied up a dragon with his bare hands. Due to his playfulness and quickness at getting into things his students adore him, but he is exceptionally frightening when angered. He's recognized a certain staff member at Shibuya Ward's Daikanyama Academy as his rival for life.

"Avarga, meaning Titan, is not actually his name, but a title indicating his rank. Long ago, he fought under the direct command of his ruler in the army of Xanadu, although his actions during the inter-world war with the Land of Wa are a source of enduring regret. He once slew a great dragon with the aid of the divine Khangarid, and its power remains with him still: not only in the Rule of his Battle Garb Sacred Artifact but also in the feathers that flutter about him at all times, shielding him from storms and warding off disaster. When another is taken against their will to become a dragon's bride, his Role compels him to intervene."

Avarga, or Titan, is a rank, and his real name is something else. Back in his home world he was a soldier who dealt with various military operations at the behest of his king. He has certain regrets about an interworld war that broke out in the past between Xanadu and Wa no Kuni. The thing he wears is a costume Sacred Artifact that has the power of the Khangarid that defeated the dragon with him. The feathers floating around him can stop all precipitation and protect him from all calamities. He carries the role to never overlook the one who has been forced to wed a dragon.

Notes
- His full title is Dalai Avarga, roughly translating to Great Titan. This is the title conferred to a triple champion in Mongolian wrestling.
- Avarga shares his body with the divine bird Khangarid, the Mongolian equivalent of the Hindu demigod Garuda.
- Garuda is the king of birds, and the mount of the Hindu god Vishnu. The Garuda is a protector with the power to swiftly travel anywhere, and an enemy of every serpent.
- The Khangarid represents courage and honesty and is the symbol of the capital city of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. According to popular Mongolian belief, the Khangarid is the spirit of the mountain range overlooking the city, Bogd Khan Uul.
- The pet eagle of Gengis Khan was called Garid. In honor of this eagle, the name has been repurposed as a Mongolian wrestling title in modern times.
- Avarga's rivalry with Arsalan may be a nod to how Arslan is also a title in Mongolian wrestling.
- His Charge Skill line is derived from Shuurga, meaning "storm" in Mongolian and Garuda.
- He speaks in a Kyushu dialect.
- His concept may have existed early in the game's production as Azuma
