"A Lupine Therian belonging to Kiou Police Academy's Canine Department, Oguchi Magami is an excellent police dog with a strong sense of justice and diligence. However, his curiosity and thirst for knowledge often gets the better of him, sending him dashing into dangerous situations alone. His inability to contain himself has kept him squarely at the rank of a cadet. In interpersonal relationships, he is ""blessed"" with the Rule of understanding other's emotions when physically struck by them, particularly from blows to the stomach, which he finds rather ""digestible."" This leads him to believe the fastest way to understand anyone or anything is to be hit, and he prefers to be greeted with punches instead of words. Events in his past have left him feeling awkward around those who seek their own ends in being swallowed up."

Wolf beastman Transient who is part of Kioh Police Academy's Canine Department. He has an upright sense of justice and outstanding talent as a police dog. However, he also has a sense of curiosity so strong that he tends to charge into all sorts of dangerous areas and cause disasters trying to satisfy it. That's why he's still designated as an apprentice. He has the power to understand a part of the emotions of whoever attacked him whenever he is hit, especially with blows to the gut. As such, he tends to think understanding anything would be quickest by getting hit, so he seems to prefer getting punched as opposed to a normal greeting. Due to a past incident, he gets upset when he faces people who want to be eaten.

鬼王警察学校の警察犬科に所属する、狼獣人の「転光生」。真面目で正義感も持ち合わせており、警察犬として優れた逸材。しかし、強すぎる好奇心が災いし、知識欲に負けてどんな危険地帯でも突っ走ってしまう突撃傾向がある。そのため、未だ「見習い」の肩書が消えずにいる。その身体に受けた攻撃、そこに乗った相手の感情の一部を理解する「権能」を持つ。特に腹に喰らった一撃は「腑に落ちる」のだとか。故に、何事も理解するなら喰らってみるのが一番だと考える節があり、挨拶代わりに一撃殴られたがったりするそうだ。過去に起きたある出来事により、喰われて終わることを望む者に対して苦手意識を持つ。

People worshiped him as a great shield, absorbing disaster and defending the good. His feelings, however, were more complex. He absorbed curses not simply out of the goodness of his heart, but out of deep curiosity. Oguchi Magami needed to know why people raised their fists and threw punches. This thirst for knowledge has given him a fondness for those who wish to speak with their fists, and for those who competently balance the contradictions of both fists and love. Unfortunately, this powerful curiosity brought tragedy to his home of Takamagahara. Though he consequently ended up worshiped as a just being, his path to that role was something he could not digest."

It is through this power that Oguchi Magami is believed to be a Guardian that protects good people from bad luck. But Oguchi Magami eating this misfortune doesn't just stem from simply from the goodness of his heart, since a large part of it also comes from him wanting to know why people swing their fists to begin with. Due to that, he tends to be fascinated by people who talk with their fists, especially in regards to love. But back in his home world of Takamagahara, that curiosity brought tragedy. As a result, even though he's believed to be innately virtuous the details of it is not something he knows in his guts.
