"A Transient from the world of Takamagahara. His hobby is telling fortunes of those he meets with the fortune-telling strips he always carries around with him. A natural prankster with a fondness for tricks, some sort of trouble usually follows his announcement of fortune, but luckily, in order to stop him from getting too carried away, his friend shark came to Tokyo with him. The two have known each other for a long, long time, and the shark acts as both an old friend as well as a mount on occasion. At the request of a certain Onamuchi-no-Mikoto, the shark keeps watch over Inaba to make sure he does not go too far. Unfortunately for Inaba, his friend isn't the most dexterous of sharks and sometimes ends up tearing out the poor hare Therian's fur when trying to chastise him, and believe it or not, the two understand each other well despite appearances. Ever since setting up shop around the Summoners, Inaba has earned the dubious attention of the guardian of a certain shrine. Perhaps as a result, his guardian points, which by all accounts should trend upward, are instead in a constant downward spiral. Inaba himself, however, looks upon the guardian with fondness and sees him as someone worth pranking."

His hobby is telling fortunes with the omikuji fortune slips he's always carrying around, but in keeping with his impish personality trouble tends to follow his pronouncements. Inaba came along together with a shark that keeps him in check whenever he gets enthusiastic. As Inaba sees it, the shark is an old friend that he goes way back with as well as a reliable ride that carries him to wherever he wants to go to. The shark has been requested by Onamuji-no-Mikoto to watch over Inaba and keep him from going too crazy, but there was one time where he was so blunt in warning Inaba that he tore off all his fur. It may look like they don't get along at first glance, but the two understand each other quite well. Ever since Inaba put down roots with the Summoners, a certain protector has been keeping an eye on him. All those komainu points he was supposed to be earning just keep going down the drain. Inaba himself however favors people worth playing pranks on.

異世界タカマガハラ出身の「転光生」。趣味はいつも持ち歩いているおみくじを使って人々の運勢を占うこと。だが、悪戯好きな性格と相まって、お告げの後はトラブルがちになるという。そんな調子づいたイナバをいつも鎮めてくれるのは、共に東京へ渡ってきたワニザメ。イナバにとって彼は昔より付き合いのある友であり、行きたい場所へと運んでくれる頼もしい乗り物でもある。ワニザメはオオナムチノミコトなる人物の頼みにより、イナバの暴走が悪い方へ流れていかないよう見守っている。だが、いざ諫めるとなった時は不器用ゆえについ、イナバの毛まで毟ってしまうこともあったり。一見すると仲が悪そうに思えてしまうが、2人は互いをよくわかっている。イナバがサモナーズの元に根をおろしてからは、とある社の守り手に目をつけられているそうだ。本来は増えていくはずの狛犬ポイントなるものは日々、下がり続けているらしい。ただしイナバ自身は、悪戯し甲斐のある相手だと好意的に捉えている。

"Inaba had always dreamed of visiting the island kingdom beyond the coast. Though he managed to trick his way to his destination, he paid the price by getting his fur torn off. While in excruciating pain, he was found by Onamuchi-no-Mikoto, who tended to his wounds. The cattail that he gave Inaba at the time is now woven into the braid of his Fortune Slip Box sacred artifact. Inaba's White Hare Fortunes are said to be particularly informative in matters of romance, and his skills in that field helped Onamuchi be united with his beloved. Though fond of matchmaking, Inaba has a sense of aesthetics about it. He holds little love for Rules that force the incompatible together or those who wish for no matches at all. On the other hand, having crossed the sea atop the back of his friend shark, he has a fondness for relationships that are complementary and cooperative. Inaba once had a dream about crossing the sea to go to an island nation past the shoreline. It was a deed he accomplished via trickery and then paying for it by having his fur torn off. Onamuji-no-Mikoto found him in this sorry state and treated his wounds. The head of the cattail plant he was prescribed is both used in the omikuji fortune slip Sacred Artifact he possesses and woven into his braids. Inaba's White Rabbit Mikuji is said to specialize in romantic fulfillment, and his abilities are said to have even helped Onamuji-no-Mikoto make a connection in the past once. Inaba apparently has a fixation on how marriages are performed. He dislikes powers that forcibly tie fates between those who would never have made them and those who choose by their own volition to be disconnected. On the other hand, he's sympathetic towards complimentary relationships like how he relied on the shark to cross the sea. For example, he's very interested in a certain someone who uses a fish-shaped ride to compensate for his weak legs.

かつて対岸にある大きな島国へ渡ってみたいと夢をみたイナバ。彼は、それを悪戯によって成し遂げたものの、代償として毛をむしられた。ヒリヒリしていた所をオオナムチノミコトなる人物によって発見され、手当をうけることになった。その時に処方されたガマの穂は、イナバが持つおみくじの「神器」にも使用され、組紐のなかに編み込まれている。イナバの「白兎みくじ」は恋愛成就に関するものが得意だという。その腕前はかつてオオナムチノミコトの結縁を手助けしたことさえあるほど。縁結びというもののやり方については、どうやらこだわりがあるらしい。ありえないもの同士でも強引に「縁」を結びつけてしまう「権能」や、無縁を自ら望む相手などには苦手意識を抱いている。一方で自身が海を渡るためにワニザメの背中を借りたことがあるように、補完的な関係には共感的。たとえば、自分の弱い足を補うために、鯛の形をした乗り物をもつ相手には強く興味を持っているようだ。
