His skills are widely respected in the city's martial arts circles, and he maintains strong ties to other schools specializing in close-quarters combat. While he was originally human, he now shares a body with the divine bird Khangarid, as evidenced by the feathers that constantly flutter about him. The monstrous strength he possesses is extraordinary even by Xanadu standards; if legends are to be believed, he once wrestled a great dragon to the ground with his bare hands. He is well-liked by his students for his affable, roguish demeanor, but a very different and far more intimidating side comes to the fore when angered... such as by a certain teacher at Daikanyama Academy, whom he views as his mortal rival."

His body was originally supposed to be human, but now it's fused with the sacred bird Khangarid. The feathers that fall around him are former traces of it. Avarga, or Titan, is a rank, and his real name is something else. Back in his home world he was a soldier who dealt with various military operations at the behest of his king.
