He is a surfer who happens to be a sea monster, with a gigantic body made of pure energy which accumulates quickly whenever he is still, causing him to grow ever larger. Translated from Japanese A Summon who came from a world called Olympus. He holds a lot of power in a large muscular body and is a monster surfer of the seas. When he's not active, his body stores up energy, causing his body to become larger and larger. Typhon's preferred method of releasing this energy is to surf, but doing this causes dangerous storms to appear on the sea, causing great trouble for others. However, Typhon himself does not have much ill intent, and he is generally bright and cheerful. He is also easily excited. His hobby is flirting with people at the beach.

Official English "He was originally created to destroy his home world of Olympus. What he's using as a surfboard is part of the bedrock of the volcano that he was once sealed in. This Sacred Artifact holds the power to flip over the heavens, the Earth, and the seas. The only thing he's vulnerable against is lightning. Anything related to the incarnation of lightning from his home world is something he does not do well against. He can create storms, but when lightning starts raining down, he begins to cower in fear quite pitifully."

Translated from Japanese At one point, he was an existence born for the sake of destroying his birthplace Olympus. The surfboard he uses is a Sacred Artifact that used to be the bedrock of a sealed volcano. It holds a great power able to overturn land, sky, and sea and blow away all things. His only weakness would be thunder. This holds especially true with the incarnation of thunder he once fought within the great battle in his home town. Whenever thunder occurs in a storm he kicks off himself, he becomes pitifully frightened.

Translated from Japanese A sea monster Transient who is not only spirited in the waves but band activities too this time. His thick giant body that knows no fatigue has a low-temperature voice. But on the other hand, he's more prone to loneliness than the average person so he always wants to go have fun together with someone. With that part of him assuming he'll get together with "someone," he might have an unexpected aptitude with the bass part. In the depths of his consciousness lies the past sin of sinking his former world beneath the waves. As someone gave the role to devour the world, he pities and feels an affinity to those who share the same thing.

Notes

• Typhon is a great beast in Greek mythology that is more commonly known to have been born by the union of Gaia and Tartarus.
  • He along with his consort Echidna bore many of the Greek stories' more famous monsters; such as Cerberus, the Lerneaen Hydra, the Chimera, and many more.
    • One of his offsprings appears in-game as the half of the Lion transient Oz (as Zo).
  • The famous story Typhon is included in is his challenge against Zeus for the right to rule the cosmos and his eventual defeat at Zeus' hands where he was buried under Mt. Etna in Sicily, Italy; attributing that whenever the volcano becomes active, it is Typhon breathing fire and trying to break free, it is also where the forge of the god Hephaestus is located.
    • His Sacred Artifact is a reference to this.
• Typhon is liked by both Behemoth and Ziz due to his resemblance to their friend Leviathan, whom you can see in the event Set Sail! Midsummer's Ocean Adventure where the crew encounters Black Storm, this is supported by the keychain Ziz wears in her beach skin where you can see keychains of Behemoth and Leviathan dangling on her bag. The two have similar appearances due to both of them being attributed to being large and deadly sea monsters in their respective mythologies.

My god he is a BIG boy. Tallest and possibly heaviest in the game (and thats a feat considering there are some gigantic people in this game). Only Tsathoggua comes close to matching his overall mass. (though I'm guessing Behemoth is probably heavier in his fat form. Maybe Ophion in his dragon form.)

His 3 and 4 star variants are good, but his 5 star variant is on another level. 100% Charm on special attack? Yes please. Amazing buffs all around and even some healing. Good damage. Easily a top 10 character gameplay wise, and he's an awesome and cute streetshark man.
