I’m not sure what’s going on in the latest story chapters since it hasn’t been translated yet, but Ryota seems to have a pretty big role. Tons of dialogue and spotlight compared to Shiro and Kengo.

Oh, sweet, lovable Ryota. Is there a reason not to like him? I unlocked all events with him and can now say that we really have become one heart and one soul. But my greatest wish is far from being fulfilled. When I think of the many wonderful ways I could hurt him. Right then, when he least expects it, I'll break his heart and feast on his tears. But then it will be too late for him. I will have him tied up and let him suffer until he is nothing but a living, gaping wound and can only scream in agony. is his 4 stat in the regular transient summon? i summoned from his current banner, did 20 pulls and i got no 4 stars with rate up, instead i got four 4 stars who are neither ryota or shiro, the system is very stupid.

He's been my protag's BF for a while, so I've leveled every version of him.

3 Star is a good, basic healer but I think other healers in the game massively outclass him

4 Star is obviously better and his healing got a lot better after his buff. Still really straightforward but good at what he does. Sower of Plenty + is kind of essential to make either 3 or 4* viable imo though.

5 Star Christmas is his basic kit on steroids, and was by the far the best version of him until recently. Miracle Child + makes him one of the best healers still in terms of sheer numbers.

5 Star Festival I'm fairly sure is one of the best characters in the game at the moment. Not as much of a healing powerhouse as Christmas, but more than makes up for it with better attack, better tankiness, and the enormous amount of beneficial status buffs he constantly dishes out by just moving him as well as high CP charge and some healing.

I love Ryota. It's a good thing too because that Festival 5 star variant of his is so damn powerful, so combined with the love buff and being lucky enough to get his protagonist pairing AR my parties have so much healing and so, so many buffs. It makes him quite tanky and he finally has decent attack, something his other variants tended to lack.
