☆3/☆4 Ryota

Pure healer, Ryota is a bit wonky to work with as well because LB2 only affects vertically-aligned allies, and optimally you’ll only be affecting whatever is in front of you. LB3 might pay off given it heals a pretty good chunk of HP to whoever you feel needs it the most, which again, is going to be whatever’s in front, his charge skill is just as good as other heal-per-hit charges too, it quickly adds up with his other healing effects. He has excellent synergy with party members who give Evasion or namely defensive buffs to whoever is behind them (Kamui, Xolotl, Garmr and Marchosias work wonders).

☆5 Christmas Ryota

Ryota (Christmas) is basically regular Ryouta on steroids with far more functionality and supporting prowess. He applies much-welcomed Fervor, Fighting Spirit and chunks of healing and CP to his allies constantly just by attacking, while dishing out a really good healing+regen to boot if he were to get hit, making it of the namely when-hit skills that are very rewarding, he’s position-reliant and should always have someone in front to make LB3 take effect. His Charge is a standard heal-per-hit that his LB1 already has, but nonetheless very good. Watch out for Fire, he has mediocre durability and welcomes any form of damage-reducing buff and/or ailment, he’s especially good with someone like Garmr, Kamui or Xolotl protecting him.

Highlights

☆3/☆4 Ryota

Class: Healer

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ Default Blessing almost on demand, a fairly good passive heal buff.

+ LB2 is nice, thanks to his Mage range, he’ll be healing whatever is in front of him fairly nicely.

+ LB3 has a humongous heal despite having to be hit to proc it.

+ Charge has a great heal per enemy hit effect, which can quickly add up with the rest of his healing skills.

Cons

- LB1 isn’t that good, it doesn’t help his durability much and is easy to outdo by a hit or two.

- You’ll only ever optimally approach LB2 for whatever is in front, not behind nor both, also because of his LB3 needing someone in front.

- LB3 has a low proc rate and requires being hit, it’s not entirely discouraged on him because it’s too great of an effect, but beware his standard durability.

☆5 Christmas Ryota

Class: Healer, Offensive Support

Gameplay Role:

Pros

+ Offers 2 great offensive buffs through Default Fervor and LB2 Fighting Spirit.

+ His LB1 healing and CP can stack quickly the more enemies you hit.

+ An amazing LB3 in terms of healing, since it applies both a humongous heal and Regen.

+ A nice charge that further amplifies his healing prowess.

Cons

- Naturally, he’ll be behind your party in order to approach LB2 and LB3, making LB1 usually only affect whoever you have in front of you.

- Blessing from Charge is probably the worst bit of his skillset given it’s inferior to being applied from normal skills, something other supports can do.
