"A Transient with a burly upper body, golden wings, and the lower half of a bird. His stronghold is the nightlife hotspot, the Tokyo Casino, a veritable golden shrine to gambling dens the world over. He is enamored of titillating bets and gives off a scent that would cause those who catch a whiff of it to be driven to frenzy and recklessness. He is also a skilled musician and holds great respect for others with the gift of music. "

A musical instructor from another world, with a body somewhere between bird and man. Gandharva relishes in the night life, and Tokyo Casino is his home away from home. More than anything else, gambling is his passion, particularly high stakes games played against live opponents rather than simple slots, and he thrives on chasing thrills with a reckless, frenzied energy. Though his work as a musical instructor is largely a way to fund his gambling, he does truly enjoy music and enjoys the company of those who play great music.

"Holds dice blessed by the water Goddess and said to invite either good fortune or destruction while rejecting all calculations and interference. When the dice fall to the earth and face the heavens, a gleaming smile of ecstasy lights up his face. In this moment, when he could win or lose all, he feels pleasure of great magnitude that mere friendship could never provide. He pities the calculating fools who try to avert risk by buying insurance, thus barring themselves from knowing this exquisite pleasure."

The die Gandharva carries are blessed by the Water Goddess to eliminate interference by calculation and alter probability, making chance the sole deciding factor of fate. When the die clatter to the ground and raises their eyes to the heavens, he grins like a madman. That single moment that carries the possibility of glorious victory, or losing it all, is more pleasurable to him than a lover's embrace could ever be. For the sort of risk-averse person who doesn't know that ecstasy, he feels only pity.

Notes
- Gandharva are a low ranking type of deva in Buddhism and Hinduism, typically associated with music. They are sometimes depicted as part birds, which is reflected in Gandharva's design.
- In the title screen, Gandharva mentions Ukyo, which seems to be a tourist spot in Kyoto. From his tone, it seems deceptive, and could potentially be considered a slum in this Tokyo, and could possibly be where Barguest lives, if that was correct.
- Gandharva also has a loading screen, which he shares with Andvari, in which, he is looking at his die, while Andvari advances to take one of the feathers in his forehead, while Gandharva wonders "Did I run out of Luck?" (凶か...)
