A musical instructor from another world, with a body somewhere between bird and man. Gandharva relishes in the night life, and Tokyo Casino is his home away from home. More than anything else, gambling is his passion, particularly high stakes games played against live opponents rather than simple slots, and he thrives on chasing thrills with a reckless, frenzied energy. That single moment that carries the possibility of glorious victory, or losing it all, is more pleasurable to him than a lover's embrace could ever be. For the sort of risk-averse person who doesn't know that ecstasy, he feels only pity.

Notes

Gandharva are a low ranking type of deva in Buddhism and Hinduism, typically associated with music. They are sometimes depicted as part birds, which is reflected in Gandharva's design.
In the title screen, Gandharva mentions Ukyo, which seems to be a tourist spot in Kyoto. From his tone, it seems deceptive, and could potentially be considered a slum in this Tokyo, and could possibly be where Barguest lives, if that was correct.
Gandharva also has a loading screen, which he shares with Andvari, in which, he is looking at his die, while Andvari advances to take one of the feathers in his forehead, while Gandharva wonders "Did I run out of Luck?" (凶か...)
