"A member of the Kamata Crafters and an expert in bionic engineering, Tvastar is a bit of a mad scientist, and modifying people in order to give them whatever it is he feels they may be lacking is one of his obsessions. Tvastar is never seen without Vritra, his vaguely serpentine companion, whom he dotes upon like (and even refers to as) his son. A bit of a wanderer by nature, Tvastar can rarely be found at his guild's headquarters, preferring to spend most of his time traveling around Tokyo. During these travels, he frequently sends back souvenirs, often of a dubious nature, from the many exotic places he visits. His history and experience have also gotten him involved in manufacturing energy drinks here in Tokyo, with expectedly chaotic results."

"His companion creature, Vritra, is no mere serpent, but a living workshop created by Tvastar to produce the building blocks of life itself. As an academic specializing in bionics, Tvastar has a profound interest in those who have already received physical modifications, although the feeling isn't exactly mutual because his initial reaction upon first meeting them is to strongly push for further enhancements regardless of their wishes. Apparently, he's currently trying to get Amatsumara to agree to a pair of wings as a remedy for his bad back—and some horns while he's at it because they'd just look cool. Tvastar's most recent area of interest is the efficient collection of energy produced by organic lifeforms, which he's been researching quite thoroughly. He has strong feelings toward the concept of fully recreating people who have passed, and tends to sympathize with anyone who's suffered the loss of a loved one."

Notes
- Tvastar is based on the deity in Vedic religion of the same name. He is an artisan god, fashioner, and a solar deity; one of the more famous items he created was the Vajra that Indra weilded, which gave him the titles of "The Heavenly Builder" and "The Maker of Divine Implements".
- Another aspect of Tvastar was that he was the one to create the bodies of men and animals, and was usually the one invoked praying for offspring, and as such also gave him the title of "garbha-pati" or the "Lord of the Womb".
- The dragon Tvastar accompanies with him is named Vritra (name in Sanskrit meaning "enveloper"), which is based on the creature of the same name. Tvastar is depicted to have fathered Vritra who embodies drought and adversary of Indra, who he was eventually slain by.
