Translated from Japanese A Santa girl with a foundation of "faith" in the world of Kitezh. There are many people of the same race with similar names who are from that place, but she's a unique individual who was created by Ded after he became Santa. Born by a magical miracle, she is believed to be able to use magic; a true magical girl. She works hard for the smiles of not only children, but also the adults who work hard for them, Santa, and everyone else. She wants everyone to welcome the arrival of spring with a smile after the harsh winter. She is famous as a genius child actor who also belongs to a theater company, and is in high demand on TV. Translated from Japanese Snegurochka's Sacred Artifact is a snowy makeup compact, which creates magical phenomena. Its "Rule" of creating snow and overwriting her appearance transforms her into a magical girl. After transforming, the rod she holds in her hand resembles a wand that someone once held. She helps Santa, but her own skills as a Santa are actually outstanding. She rides on her snowy reindeer, Lou, which she created herself, and flies through the sky, which is only natural for her snowy alter-ego. In addition, being Ded's granddaughter, she has enough "faith" to be a Santa. In other words, she can essentially fulfill the Santa role all by her lonesome. Of course, that much power comes with a price. Her "faith" is strongest on Christmas Day, and gradually weakens after that. Official Japanese スネグーラチカの「神器」は、魔法のような現象を演出する、雪化粧のパクト。雪を起こし、装いを上書くその「権能」で魔法少女へと変身するのだ。変身後に手に持つロッドはかつて誰かが手にしていた杖に似ているのだそう。サンタたちのお手伝いをする彼女だが、サンタとしての実力も実はピカイチ。自分単体で生み出した、相棒の雪トナカイのルーちゃんに乗り、空を駆け回る。雪である彼女の分身ならば、空を舞えるのが当然であるからだ。かつ、ジェドの孫であることからサンタとしての「信仰」も十分。つまりバディが原則のサンタを実質的には、１人で実現してしまうのだ。もちろん、強力な力にはそれなりの代償がつきもの。彼女の「信仰」はクリスマスの日に最も高まり、その後段々と弱まっていく。どんな強力な冬の寒さも、真実の愛には溶かされちゃうのがおきまりらしい。だからこそ愛は最強の魔法だというのがスネグーラチカの主張。だが、とある犬士には自らのそれを歪んだ呪いのようなものだと主張されているらしい。

• She is based on the Russian fairy tale character of the same name, whose name means "Snow Maiden," as she's said to be a girl made of snow. She is a popular part of Christmas and New Year celebrations, and considered to be the granddaughter of Ded Moroz.
• Her Charge Skill, Zimniye Gryozy, means "winter daydreams" in Russian (Зимние грёзы). It might be a reference to Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 1 sharing the same name.
• One of her battle voicelines is "Skábma!" which means "polar night" in North Sámi.

Plus, both franchises are popular in Japan, both are based on famous folktales (in Charlotte’s case, the poem, “A Corpse Going to the Ball,” which is about a girl who freezes to death on a sleigh ride to the titular ball after refusing to dress warmly in fear it would wrinkle her pretty dress,) and both franchises have adapted famous folklore characters and serial killers (notable examples being Krampus (who was released as an LDD Presents doll,) Mephistopheles (who released in I think the second series based on myth,) the Jiangshi (which, I may add, I much prefer LDD’s take on the concept,) Elizabeth Bathory (the infamous vampire countess who Ellie is based on,) Jack The Ripper (who was the original owner of Kirito’s Sacred Artifact and the historical figure he’s based on,) and Arachne (who, in LDD’s version of the character, is heavily implied to be a spider controlling the corpse of a dead girl.)

Is it just me, or does she kinda remind me of Frozen Charlotte from the Living Dead Dolls franchise? Association with the cold, they’re both children, they come from a franchise that has characters who are dominantly one gender by and targeted at men, similar skin tone (although, Charlotte is pale white, with the only light blue being the crack in her “china” skin,) their hair is in pony/pigtails, and both franchises started out small (LifeWonders was a doujin circle, while Ed Long and Damien Glonek originally customized angel doll kits and turned them into the first dolls like Candy Rotten and Sadie.)
