未だ詳細を広く知られていない、異世界アギシュムバからの「転光生」。もっとも希少なレッドダイヤモンドを産出する鉱山の所有部族、その王子とも噂される。普段は落ち着いた雰囲気を漂わせ、外遊先の文化に合わせて振舞おうとする謙虚さを示す。しかし些細なきっかけで我を失い、荒々しい原石のような心がむき出しとなってしまうことがあるようだ。ちぐはぐな言動と、複数の生物が組み替えられた心身の特徴――彼は、そんな自分を「怪物」と呼ぶ。東京に伝わる「和の心」を身に付けたく、弓道部の門を叩いたという。出身世界のシステムの影響を大きく受けており、しかし本人はその事を含め、自分について積極的に語らない。彼の「神器」は同ギルド他メンバーと同様、人類の生存圏外で機能するための射程を有している。「本来、ここが生存圏ではなかったはずの生命」、つまりは外来種。人間のフリをしているのは、故郷の「世界代行者」と同様に、人間が大好きであるからだと語る。

尻尾から生え、鉱石のように赤く輝く「無数の棘」の「神器」。直接飛ばす、あるいは引き抜き矢として放ち、刺した対象を激発させる「権能」を持つ。これに刺された生物は整合性を失って分裂し、感情をバラバラに爆発させるという。ただし、狙って命中させられる精神の落ち着きは、今の所持っていない。この「神器」は自身の心の動きにも反応し、本人を巻き込む形で四方八方に棘が飛散する。怪物の彼が人の姿をとっているのは、異世界アギシュムバの組み換えの「信仰」によるもの。人の間に溶け込みたいというマンティコアの願いは、その「怪物」が表に出る度に打ち砕かれる。言い換えれば、彼がその怪物を見せるのは、少なくとも本人が心を開きたい相手という事なのだ。見様見真似の茶道で振る舞った茶を飲んだ者に、泡を吹かせたことがあるらしい。
