The '19 model Replicant (android) created by a mega corporation in the world of Utopia in order to gather information from other worlds. Their top priority is to investigate such worlds and to make contact with intelligent life. His physical appearance was designed to evoke protective instincts in others. The autonomously learning AI installed in him allows him to deal flexibly with varying situations but he is still lacking in experience and emotionally repressed. He is interested in people with nice smiles and who present a variety of emotions as models from whom he can learn.

He holds a fierce malice towards anyone who doesn't act like a living, breathing person and simply follows whatever orders they are given."

For the purpose of self-defense and confidentiality protection, R-19 is equipped with a standard-issue Heat Gun. However, due to inefficient heat dissipation, firing the gun also shortens the product life. This, too, is a deliberate design decision on the part of the manufacturer, as R-19 units are meant to have short lifespans, lest their AI develop emotions and opinions that run counter to their mission objective.
