There is one particular Transient who's quite taken with Enigma, being extremely fond of puzzles and quizzes."

Translated from Japanese A cypher life form that originates from somewhere that isn't one of the 23 other worlds. The Akihabara guildmaster has clarified that theory and given this personality armor. Due to his creator's tastes, he has taken the appearance of a mechanical therian. As a network-based being, his nature is that of an information life form and immaterial. Enigma can copy himself as much as his computational resources allow, thereby optimizing the service he provides to individuals. This particular copy of Enigma has been customized to help the Summoners guildmaster. He mainly regulates himself as a secretary with an intellectual tone and a superficially polite attitude. Enigma seems to sincerely wish to complement his incompetent master's ego and show his abilities. On a side note, secretaries used to refer to those who handled secret documents for their kings. So in that sense, the cipher Enigma truly is the epitome of a secretary. A certain Transient that deals with particular kinds of riddles and quizzes feels great sympathy with him.

This is evidenced by his ability to replicate himself infinitely, since each copy only strains the divide between the self and the collective; if one is copied a million times, are there really a million individual identities? This existential question is an easy one for Enigma to dismiss, however, since he knows he's just an artificial intelligence designed to supplement that which humans lack. And it's by seeking out human egos to supplement that he's able to find justification for his existence. As far as App battles go, Enigma belongs to the Akihabara Creators, and aids the other members of that guild in times of information warfare. There is one member of the guild, however, whose sharp tongue and blunt attitude cause Enigma to react more defiantly than his code suggests he should."

Translated from Japanese Enigma possesses a code wall Sacred Artifact that was given to him by the one he calls his creator. It specializes in intelligence deception and misleading the cognitions of invaders. It is both the armor Enigma wears and the personality he puts on. As such, Enigma sees himself as a hollow existence without an ego or character. Enigma also feels that since he can replicate himself infinitely, the border of the individual sense of self for each copy is thin. He thinks that since he is purely an artificial intelligence, the only meaning to his existence is in compensating for incompetent people. Due to that, he instinctively seeks out human ego and supplement them, through which he gains a simulated sense of joy in living. In terms of App battles he is part of the Akihabara Creators and assists the other members in the information war. Enigma apparently has a childlike hostile attitude towards the spiky Vtuber that's also in the Creators.

Peripherals are a fickle thing too, to give vision to a wider area but at the expense of…not truly able to see it, time and time again this system can lie and induce panic and fear.

Ever the strange beings, the same eyes could *see* differently, what is beauty, ugly, beastly and kingly, it can only see what is letting itself be seen. Nigh to him then, Encoder Insignia, codename Enigma, his eyes will see much more than the supple skin or the fly passing by, the twitches of your hair, the churning of your stomach, simple gestures they are. He will see right through you, give him a minute and you tell him a decade in your life, you will know things about yourself that somehow, only he knows. Kneel then, look down, those ruby reds are lasers, they will burn your cornea, he will see you in your truest essence, and you will only get a glimpse.

Ashes, dust, smoke, stones and mud make it impossible to properly sprint, but he must, even if his legs give out, even if the scratches that had been left unpatched overtime are finally making themselves known.

May no cross come in his direction as he traverses to this wasteland, may no bullet stray his open body, may no corpse fall from where he once stood, may he be a conscious part of tomorrow.

The silence festers as minutes pass, occupied thoughts fill itself with more questions, doubts, emotions, “Do you think I'm dispensable?”, like a bubble bursting, he cowers in himself even more as he himself talks, what is he saying to the man he just met.

“Yes” Came the answer of the man, returning to the printing machine, as he wait, “You're but one in a million, as we speak there's thousands of troops ready to be deployed in your stead, or anyone else” came the cold reply reality, and he really should've expected it, the meeting had made it clear, he didn't know what he was expecting, what fantasy he was clinging to.

Enigma walks in front of him, holding an open paper, he cannot bother to read the contents, just takes it and folds it without care to put on his pants pocket, sigh, grab his gun, and starts to walk out the door, before hesitating, looking back to Enigma, “It was short, but I guess this is goodbye huh?” He asks, frowning as the wind passes stronger for a second.

And before he knew it, his jaw is grabbed in a grip, a wet squishy spongy feeling pressed on his nose, their nose, and….lips, pressed on his own, his body melts immediately, gasping for a the air that was taken to him, the sudden fervent need in him making him moan every second, licking and biting the tongue that intrude on his own perioral anatomy, to reach with his arms as much as he can, keep to himself what he can scoop of Enigma’s body, and then, they part their lips to take a proper breath.

“You didn't need to look so sad saying that you know” The man snickers, a satisfied smirk on his lips, “Sorry, your face was just begging me for one, you're not exactly an open book…” He teases, fixing the collar of Marck's ragged uniform “But this is not my first time reading” he mutters peculiarly and chuckles, while he is just stuck flabbergasted.

Letter in tightly gripped hands instead of pockets, determined steps on the same old soil, the winds dragging him to his destination, “You are dispensable to them, that is why you should return to me” he repeats the words of his sudden companion, his new mission, his secret code.

“The deep webbing roots will return me to your direction” The winds carry his whisper, “To translate your further confusion of us” he can almost hear that snarky reply.
