"A mischievous Transient from Yggdrasil, this young boy simply cannot take good care of his possessions or his affairs. Back in Yggdrasil, Beowulf was supposed to become the king of legends, to be lauded by vikings of all stripes, but here in Tokyo, he clings to his boyhood, hoping to enjoy battles for time immemorial. He is particularly fond of fighting powerful dragons, for which his trusty companion, a young fire dragon named Wyrm, makes the perfect partner. Destiny aside, Beowulf is too young to fully understand what qualities make a worthy king, but that hardly matters to him. Thanks to his Role, he is fated to go down while slaying one of those dragons he enjoys fighting. This fate is the result of unique circumstances in the relationship between Tokyo and his home world of Yggdrasil. Having been squeezed out of that world, he finds himself temporarily bestowed with what can only be described as ""all"" attributes. Beowulf is committed to his immaturity and dislikes his more cunning elders, but people who befriend dragons and old kings who regain their youth definitely pique his interest."

Transfer student (sic) said to have come from the world of Yggdrasil. He's a naughty boy who treats things extremely roughly. In his home world he is supposed to be a legendary king among the vikings' beliefs, but now as the eternal boy he is, all he wishes for is to battle on for forever. He especially likes fighting against powerful dragons, and he's brought along a firedrake friend named Wyrm that he fights with. As a kid he isn't the king's vessel, so he doesn't really understand the nature of being a king. His role has also fated him to go down together in battle with a dragon. Beowulf being the way he is now in Tokyo is due to unique circumstances with Yggdrasil. As someone locked out to the exterior of the world, Beowulf barely carries the All property. His setting himself to be inexperienced might be why he does so terribly with the cunning and crafty. He shows sympathy when facing people with circumstances similar to his own like being a rejuvenated old king or being accompanied by a dragon.

"Beowulf carries a lion's share of valuable Swords at his waist which are Sacred Artifacts, but he takes such poor care of them that they often break. His fate has been prophesied, and he wants nothing to do with it. When his homeland of Yggdrasil ends, he is supposed to grow a white beard and become humanity's king in the age that follows. To his joy, however, a certain theatrical criminal made sure that such an age would never come. The world of Yggdrasil was placed in an infinite loop so that time would turn back when it met the twilight of its days, and here in Tokyo, Beowulf will remain eternally youthful. The young fire dragon Wyrm is a constant companion and friendly fighting partner, only it doesn't share those same sentiments. Whenever it lunges at Beowulf, the young viking perceives it as a playful gesture and tackles it to the ground in kind—a reaction which Wyrm appears to enjoy for reasons of its own. A reptile tamer from a certain guild often watches them from the shadows, quietly fuming with jealousy that anyone who abuses his lizard so could be allowed the privilege of such a fine specimen's company. Beowulf himself is a member of the Game Masters presiding over Tokyo's Game. As such, he is also granted the special privilege of concurrent membership in one of the other guilds."

Beowulf has many treasure sword Sacred Artifacts hanging from his waist, but since he doesn't take good care of them, he tends to break them. In the age that comes after Yggdrasil's ruin, Beowulf is meant to become an old human king, but thanks to a certain theatrical criminal that time will never come for eternity. When the Twilight of the World comes to Yggdrasil, so does the reverting loop of time. That results in Beowulf not aging in Tokyo. He sees the ever-present firedrake child Wyrm as his battle buddy, but Wyrm's feelings towards him are different from friendship. Beowulf sees them as playing around and always pins them down, yet Wyrm seems to highly enjoy that. The reptile tamer of a certain guild seems to be jealous as he tells him to stop bullying the little lizard. In the Tokyo game, Beowulf is said to be part of the Game Masters, which grants him administrative privileges and the ability to be in another guild concurrently.

Notes
- He is based on the Germanic hero Beowulf whose legend is the basis of the oldest piece of English literature.
- His companion Wyrm is based on worms - large, serpentine dragons in Germanic folklore. Beowulf was killed by such a dragon in his legend.
- His multiple sword Sacred Artifacts are a reference to the many swords Beowulf uses, such as Nægling and Hrunting.
- His Charge Skill, Jotunn Grendel is a reference to the giants in Norse mythology, as well as Grendel, a demon that Beowulf vanquished.
