Transient from Gehenna who closely resembles a lion. After his summoning to Tokyo he's gotten into using his dexterous hands in the figure making business and working hard in otaku activities. His breadth of interest is wide from prototype work to painting, from garage kits to plastic models. If there's new techniques and themes to be, Vapula is adaptable and quick to use them immediately. That jacks up his expenses, so he's decided to work at his favorite hobby shop to to fund it all. He can use his hobby knowledge to do well there, but with so many tempting new products in the store his savings never last long. They say Vapula's summoner will naturally pick up knowledge through Vapula's talks about otaku subjects and practice dexterity through making models with him. A certain Transient's machine body has drawn in Vapula, but Vapula's gotten so into it that it tends to get him put at arm's length.

獅子によく似た姿をもつ、異世界ゲヘナ出身の「転光生」。東京に召喚されてからは手先の器用さを生かしてフィギュア制作にハマり込み、オタク活動に勤しんでいた。守備範囲は広く、原型制作から塗装、ガレージキットからプラモデルまで。また、新しい技術や題材があればいち早く取り入れる柔軟性を持ち合わせている。しかしそのぶん出費も多くなり、活動資金を集めがてら行きつけのホビーショップでのアルバイトを決めた。だが趣味の知識を生かして仕事できる反面、店内には新製品などの誘惑も多くあまり貯金はできていないらしい。ヴァプラの召喚主は、オタク話に巻き込まれることで自然と知識が身についたり、一緒に模型作りなどをすることで器用さが養われるという。とある「転光生」のマシンボディの造形に惚れ込んで近付くものの、あまりにも熱心過ぎて逆に距離を置かれがちとか。

The books of sorcery and crafting Sacred Artifact(s?) Vapula possesses exist as both the original and include copies of later editions. Among those books is one that has the golem creation method written within it. Vapula's power can read those books, execute their contents, then make objects move. A golem's body is treated as an enclosed area, and it can move without limit. It is the same as the robots and automatons made by other Transients based on their own memories. However, if the vessel's integrity is attacked it is the easiest thing to destroy. Things made into golems sometimes run wild, but they do have the ability to be set that way in emergency situations if needed. When faced with trouble, sometimes a number of rampaging golems run away. Golems behave as though they possess wills at first glance, but they only act in accordance to the orders they are given. As such, Vapula believes they don't have any wills. Due to that, he's interested in an artificial intelligence who exists in the same way and admires a student who attends the same school he goes to.

ヴァプラが所有する魔導書や技術書の「神器」は、オリジナルのほかに写本を含めていくつか存在する。そのうちのひとつにゴーレム製造方法が記載されているものがあった。ヴァプラはその「権能」によりこの本の内容を読み取り、そのとおりに実行することで物体を動かすのだ。ゴーレムは物体そのものを閉鎖領域として扱っており、かつ場所を限定せず動かすことが可能。他の「転光生」たちが己の「記憶」に基づき作るオートマトンやロボットと同様のもの。だが、器としての在り方を崩す手段を用いれば、いともたやすく破壊することができてしまう特徴を持つ。ゴーレム化したものはたまに暴走してしまうことがあるが、場面によっては緊急措置として機能する。厄介なことに、暴走したゴーレムはいくつか逃走したままになっているらしい。ゴーレムたちは、一見すると意思が宿ったかのように振るまうが、実際には与えた命令の通りに動いているにすぎない。故にそこに意思のようなものは存在しないと、ヴァプラは信じている。そんな経緯もあってか、同じようなあり方である人工知能にも興味を抱いており、同学園に通うとある生徒に感心を寄せている。
