"An Old One with wriggling tentacles that tend to wrap about him. He is also a professor at the Toyosu Marine Academy and a professional marine architect. Although very similar in appearance to a certain teacher of Shinjuku Academy, his values are the complete opposite of those of his likeness. He does not seek to reach great heights with another but rather holds strong, self-destructive urges that compel him to drown in depravity with those around him. He enjoys the company of adults most of all, and wafts an air of nihilistic decadence about him. He shares his name with an All-Father from another world, not associated with any of the 23 worlds connected to Tokyo. He seems to feel some fondness for those who have an interest in the study of sunken ruins. With little care for riches, he rarely gets into disputes over how shares are distributed after a job."

Transient from Old Ones who possesses winding, squirming tentacles. He is also a lecturer at Toyosu Gakuen University and a specialist in ocean construction. His appearance highly resembles a certain teacher at Shinjuku Academy, but the directions they go in are complete opposites. Rather than aim for the greatest heights with someone, he holds strong ruinous desires to sink to the deepest depths of depravity with another. He likes social meeting places for adults, and there is always calming yet decadent pheromones drifting about him. He does not belong to any of the 23 worlds connected to Tokyo, and he has the same name as a certain ancestor from another world. He seems to like his coworker who desires to investigate sunken relics. And above all, as Dagon has little desire for money he is unlikely to get into a dispute over his shares, so they mesh well.

"The Pillar he holds, his Sacred Artifact, contains the memory of a great calamity that once befell the world. For this is a Pillar that remained standing long after the palace it supported had sunk into the depths of the ocean. By manifesting the memories of destruction held within, he can wash all things surrounding this Pillar into the deep. Only he, as the wielder, can resist this surge by clinging fast to the Pillar. However, this ability comes with a price: he is fated to become the sole survivor of his kind. On top of this, the Creator of Light has sealed away his identity. It is perhaps unsurprising, then, that he does not relish encountering others of his kind, as it only reminds him of his traumatic experiences, but one must understand that this is not out of hate. It is rumored he enjoys baking on his days off."

The pillar Sacred Artifact he possesses retains the memories of a great calamity that covered the world. In truth it is the base of the palace that remained and sunk to the bottom of the sea after the end of the cataclysm from that world. By reenacting those memories, this artifact can be used as a focus to wash everything down into the abyss. However should the owner cling to this artifact, it is possible that they alone can withstand this torrent. The price for this is to carry the fate of losing all of one's family and being the sole survivor. Additionally, due to the contract with the Light Maker their existence was sealed away. Looking at those of the same race as him awakens the trauma, so even commiseration is a difficult thing for him. This is by no means outright hate for it though. It's rumored that his hobby is to bake bread on his days off.

Raiders of The Lost Isle 2: Undersea City of Promise
Dagon is introduced as a professor at Toyosu Academy, and an expert of oceanic construction. While at a lecture hall in Toyosu, he is met by an unknown person. They briefly discuss a new transient student from a high class family in Gehenna. They quickly change subjects and begin talking about students recently caught in Overworld Shifts belonging to worlds not connected to the Game or the 23 worlds connected to Tokyo. A connection is also made to Tokyo Bay with these Overworld Shifts. Among those names includes that of the Protagonist, of which Dagon declines to continue reading after seeing that name, stating he's only recently come to Tokyo. They continue the discussion until the name of Canaan pops up. Dagon feels he's supposed to know the name, but cannot remember from where or why. Having only a brief glimpse of a temple from his memory, he brushes the discussion aside.
The person he's speaking to then shifts the subject to Tokyo soon being the site of a mass destruction. This person then gives Dagon a map to their group's location, stating that Dagon will be safe there and that if any leads to Canaan exist, he will find it there.
Dagon is next seen after the Overworld Shift, when Astarte and Astaroth take The Protagonist to the temple of Dagon. Here, he's depicted as enormous, at least 20 meters tall. After introducing himself as the Father of Canaan, he welcomes you to the city, saying that regardless of intent, Dagon had sworn to love all who came to his world. After the Protagonist asks to stay, Dagon accepts, with the condition that the Protagonist collect as many heart shells as they can, and make offerings to Dagon. After Astarte and the Protagonist leave, Dagon is shown watching Tokyo, and comments that some of his brethren have sunken to the Deep, and wait as if dreaming.
Notes
- Dagon's charge skill "Over Shadow" is a reference to one of H.P. Lovecraft's novella "Shadow Over Innsmouth" where the townspeople made a pact with fish-like creatures called Deep Ones that worship Father Dagon and his consort Mother Hydra.
