These two Avis Therians are in the business of working at night. One ventures through dreams, while the other ventures for dreams. One plays music in bars, while the other runs one. Gandharva wraps up his performance for the night to find Thunderbird offering a drink. Having already been paid, he questions the gesture in his husky voice. Thunderbird simply smiles and calls it a token of appreciation for a regular. Placated, Gandharva takes the glass in hand and drinks it down in one gulp before heading back to his stage to play another tune out of gratitude. The hero and the gambler remember the dream that brought them together as they indulge in the music. Once satisfied, the two vow to meet in the bar again soon before both head off separately to wager their dreams."

「乾杯しようじゃないかガンダルヴァ。そう、この夜の出会いに……」
「ああサンダーバード。俺たちの幸運に乾杯だ」
夜の商売を営む鳥人、２人。
夢を賭ける者と夢に賭ける者、そしてバーの流しとマスターでもある２人。
今宵、演奏を終えたガンダルヴァのもとへ、サンダーバードが１杯の飲み物を差し出す。
しゃがれた声で、もう謝礼はもらった、これは何だと問う。
その問いに爽やかな笑みを添えて答える。常連客への特別サービスだと思ってくれと。
差し出されたグラスを受け取って呷ったガンダルヴァは、ならそのお返しにと特別にもう１曲奏でた。
ギャンブラーとヒーロー、その２人を結びつけたきっかけでもある、ひとときの夢を思い出しながら。
やがて満足した２人は、またバーで会おうと言い残し、それぞれの「己を賭す場」へ向かうのだった。
