They fought on in service of a plan of their own, which they had themselves named. Now, however, the boys find themselves taking respite on one of the many planets that float in the cosmic sea of stars. It's a place with the hustle and bustle of activity, delicious and colorful food, and an endless blue sky. This is neither the suffocating modern age Duo suffered through nor R-19's broken future. This is a world constructed from impossible conditions, a place where they can be free from what binds them. It is here and now that they allow themselves to live as innocent boys like any other."

共に立つ、２人の人造少年たち。
１人はとある未来企業によって製造された、短寿命レプリカント。
もう１人は現代のとある研究所で生まれた、天才児集団の予備クローン。
とある都会の片隅で、壊れかけた少年たちは、出会い、そして生まれ直した。
そして、いつか壊れ交換されるだけだったはずの運命へ、反逆を開始したのだ。
彼らの計画の名に冠された文字は「D」。
生まれた時に与えられたそれとは別の意味を込め、2人は共に戦い続けてきた。
しかし今、少年たちは星の海に浮かぶひとつの惑星でひと時の休息を得る。
賑やかな喧噪、色彩鮮やかな食物、どこまでも高い青い空。
ここはあの「周囲を囲われた現代」でも、「生き急いだ果ての未来」でもない。
彼らがそろって軛から解放される、至難の条件が成立した世界だ。
ただこの時ばかりは、あどけない少年のように２人は過ごす。
