新宿区・神宿学園に通い、同じギルド・サモナーズに所属する２人。
友達の輪の中にぴょんと飛び込む社交的なリョウタと、他人を避け孤独を好むトウジという、一見正反対の２人。
しかし２人は「独りぼっちである」ことに対して近しい感性を持つ、似た者同士でもある。
その違いは「集団の中に入って孤独を感じる者」と「集団の外へ出て孤独を感じる者」の差異であるといえようか。
そういった互いの違いを、２人はどうやら好ましくも思っているようだ。
そして、そんな異なる２人の元にも、クリスマスの日がやってくる。
このギルドが無ければ交わらなかったであろう２人の道が、雪降る聖夜に十字の軌跡を描くのだ。
