"""Listen up, Kurogane. Before properly crafting a client's weapon, you must first train yourself to wield it."" ""Yeah, my engineer spirit and my muscles are all shaped by your training, Grandpa.""
Kurogane is the guild master of the Kamata Crafters, who handle Sacred Artifacts from the 23 other worlds. He admires his master and grandfather Amatsumara the blacksmith, whose pet theory is that healthy technology comes from a healthy body! Their factory is a place for training not only their skills but their bodies as well. Surpassing one's limits is what makes muscles stronger, and being familiar with the workings of the body and able to use equipment as an extension of your body teaches one how to go beyond the limits of Sacred Artifacts. Amatsumara imposes amazingly difficult training regimens upon his beloved students, and the creaking of barbells can be heard from the mirror-enclosed training space on a daily basis. The Sacred Artifacts that appear in this Tokyo are nothing but an extension of the body, or at the very least, this is true for the Transients that come from other worlds. If so, then tempering Sacred Artifacts through skill and tempering one's body through training are truly equal. However, what does that mean for Tokyo citizens if that is the case? The true implications of resident Tokyoites taking on Sacred Artifacts with their bodies are still unknown to Kurogane."

"Remember, Kurogane, before you can forge your clients' weapons, you must first train yourself to handle them!"
"Ah, the engineer's spirit and muscles! Grandpa's got it made."
The Kamata Crafters deal with "Sacred Artifacts" from 23 different worlds. Amatsumara, the blacksmith whom the guild master Kurogane calls "master" and "grandpa," believes that "technique starts with muscle." The workshop is not only a place to train one's skills, but also a place to develop one's steel muscles. Muscles can only be strengthened when they are pushed beyond their limits. It teaches that knowing how the body works and being able to treat tools as an extension of the body leads to transcending the limits of "Sacred Artifacts." Amatsumara sets his precious students a grueling muscle training regime. The sound of creaking barbells can be heard again today in the training space surrounded by mirrors. The "Sacred Artifacts" that manifest in Tokyo are nothing more than an extension of the body. At least, that's the case for the "Transients" who come from another world. If so, then "forging Sacred Artifacts through technology" and "forging the body through training" are indeed equivalent. But...then, what about those who are "locals"? As someone born in Tokyo, Kurogane does not yet know the true meaning of "inheriting" the "Sacred Artifact" in his body.
