So long as this connection was restricted to Old Ones it was supposed to be immovable and immutable. But upon being summoned to Tokyo where 23 other worlds have intersected, the Role of the Old Ones' world creator ended up finishing when it shouldn't have. As he is now Nyarlathotep still doesn't see why the creator's role has been completed. The only truth rising before his eyes is that "the creator and the messenger have been divided by walls" and "the one who is confined has been reversed." Now that he's lost his hero, Nyarlathotep will take actions he's never thought of before. Well, originally that was supposed to be his Role. That is to say, "to seek the unknown ___."

その関係は、オールドワンズにおいて閉じている限り、不動不変であるはずだった。
しかし２３の異世界と交差した東京へ招かれたことで、オールドワンズの創造主は、終えられるはずの無かった「役割」を終えてしまう。
何故、創造主が「役割」を終えられたのか、今のニャルラトテプはまだ気づいていない。
ただ事実として眼前にそびえるのは「創造主と使者は壁で分かたれたこと」そして、「幽閉の立場は逆転したこと」。
己がヒーローを失ったニャルラトテプは、自分でも思いもよらなかった行動へと出ることとなる。
いや、それは元から彼の「役割」だったはずなのだ。
それは、即ち「未知なる▬▬▬を▬に求める」こと――
