Takemaru, who leads the ogres, and Motosumi, who has the power to subdue ogres. The two meet on Setsubun, and as part of the emotional education for the orphans living in the temple, they decide to teach them the "Oni In!" way of Setsubun. In the Land of Wa, "Setsubun" is a ceremony to get rid of "misfortune" known as "ogres", like Takemaru. In his land, an "ogre" was either an "unsettled person" or "someone with a different feature on the top of his head." It also refers to those who have rooted the "horns", or "small pillars", in their own body. Motosumi, who has the power to subdue demons despite being a "human" and strictly practices the Pillar of Origin, has half stepped into the realm of "ogres". In other words, it can be said that Motosumi, who welcomes the ogre orphans into his family, is half alienated from "humans". And Takemaru, with his broken horn, is also a similar person who has half stepped away from the "ogres". However, their "Roles" may take a different path in Tokyo, where a wide variety of "Transients" live. The end of their "Roles" and "Rules" is destruction, but the path they have paved will continue. | |||
