The young swordsman Moritaka and the highly experienced captain of the Imperial Guard, Orgus, pit their blades against one another in challenge. After their match-up is complete, they seek out a water fountain on campus to cool themselves off. There, whilst ceaselessly speaking words of praise and admiration for the lessons they've each learned from the other, they proceed to thoroughly splash their heads with water, and the heat still radiating from within their bodies thus begins fighting a battle all its own with this much-needed cooling sensation. The two warriors both silently note that in every world they know of, the sky that stretches infinitely above them is always said to be clear and blue. And now that the blades of fire and ice have crossed, perhaps, they hope, this could be the start of something new and exciting."

Orgus, a battle-hardened Captain, was challenged by the young swordsman Moritaka. After practice, they went to the school's watering place to cool down. Praising each other for everything they had learnt along the way, they reached the watering place and rinsed their heads. The heat that still clung to their bodies contrasted with the coolness of the running water. Wherever they go, the skies above them are clear and blue. One can only hope that when the sword of fire and the sword of ice meet, they will reach new horizons.

「フッ。なんとまっすぐな瞳よ。犬塚信乃モリタカ。氷の刃と唄われた貴君の技、見事であったぞ。この気迫が、欠片でもアイツにあれば……ふう。」
百戦錬磨の騎士団長オルグスに挑む、若き剣士モリタカ。
稽古の後に籠った熱を冷ますため、２人は校内にある水場へと足を運ぶ。
道中お互いから学べた事柄を褒め称えあいながら水場へやってくると、勢いよく水を頭からかぶる。
まだ体に残る熱さと、水の冷たさが交互に体内を駆けていくように思えた。
何処の世界へ行っても、頭上に広がるは澄み渡る青く晴れた空。
炎の剣と、氷の剣がまみえた先に、新たなる境地へ至らんことをただ願う。
