To bear the entirety of that sin alone and wait quietly for the coming end is their Role. During those innumerable days on that Lost Isle, Asterius took on their Role and thus Robinson survived. 凄惨な日々の中で、ただ自分だけが無事に生き残ってゆく２人。
そして１人、その罪を全て背負い、やがて終わりを迎える「役割」の２人。
あの秘島で彼らが出会ったのは、決して偶然ではない。
いや、それは因果が逆であろうか。
正確に言うならば、この２人が出会わなければ、あの日々は終わる事がなかったはずだ。
繰り返した秘島の日々において、アステリオスがその「役割」を背負ったが故に、ロビンソンは生き延びた。
１人しか許されない世界の生存者、それが２人そろったが故に、機構の脱出口を得る事が出来たのだ。
これは、語られなかった秘島の「機構」、それに対する解法である。
