The Eight Dog Warriors, unofficially known as The Hakkenshi, are a group of Canis Therians who are the spiritual children of Yatsufusa. They are based off the epic novel Nansō Satomi Hakkenden, written by Kyokutei Bakin during the Edo period of Japan.

Overview

The Eight Dog Warriors are samurai who've pledged fealty to the Satomi clan, offshoots of the great Minamoto clan. Each dog warrior bears an orb.[1]4

In one of the past Loops, the Protagonist along with Toji and Yoritomo reunited the Eight Dog Warriors and Shino in a plan to put an end to the Game by eliminating all the World Representatives through sowing discord among them, believing that the Game would come to an end with the final Representative and the Protagonist left standing.
