• Tsathoggua is based on the toad and sloth-like deity of the same name from the Cthulhu Mythos, who is served by black liquid creatures called the formless spawn.
• His charge skill, Elder Cynokrash, is a reference to Cykranosh, an alias of planet Saturn in the Cthulhu Mythos, from which Tsathoggua came to Earth.
• Tsathoggua is both a NEET and a Hikikomori. A "Not in Education Employment or Training" person, who is reclusive in his home. To further this image, Tsathoggua lives in the basement of the Tokyo Casino, owned by Hakumen, and in the lowermost underground floor (there are around 40 underground floors mentioned).
• His title screen line makes a reference to N'Kai, the lightless cavern where his lovecraftian counterpart resides. This is located under the cavern of Yoth, a red-lighted cavern in the subterranian land of K'n-yan. This could have been the basis to design him as a a Hikikkomori.

sigh, I knew that YouTube video was gonna spread.

So this guy says hes “straight” because he “simps” for Arachne or something, even though it’s revealed in the same quest line that he primarily got the suit in order to impress you the player, regardless of your gender. (Also when it comes to arachne, he mostly just seems concerned about her overworking herself? Seems a bit harsh to sum that up as simping) Aside from tgst I can’t really think of other situations if him fawning on women all the time, he doesn’t really have that relationship with Hakumen she’s more his landlord.

But even if that were the case…why couldn’t he be bisexual? Why’s it gay or straight? Hell loving someone irregardless of their gender has been a theme in the main story at times.

So in other words, it’s one guys opinion, I wouldn’t think about it too much. Tsathoggua is still as ambiguously bisexual as the rest of the cast and nothing in the game has really suggested otherwise.
