Notes
- Originally, Kitezh was named Rus' Khaganate (ルーシカガン, "Rūshikagan"), determined via datamining. Why this was changed is currently unknown.
- Rus' Khaganate is a hypothetical city that was supposedly located in Eastern Europe between 830 and 890s.
- The Transients of this world are primarily derived from various figures from Slavic mythology and culture, as well as folklore from nearby regions of Eastern Europe.
- Perun is based on the the supreme god of lightning in Slavic mythology.
- Volos is based on the god of earth from Slavic mythology, who is sometimes considered to look like a cross between a snake and a bear.
- Chernobog is based on the evil god of misfortune with dubious historicity from Slavic mythology.
- Ded is based on Ded Moroz, a legendary character who brings children presents during winter in East Slavic regions. He has roots in Slavic mythology but is also influenced by Christianity.
- Kresnik is based on a type of shaman who used their powers to fight against vampires in Slavic mythology.
- Volkh Vseslav is based on Vseslav of Polotsk, a historical ruler who was fictionalized as a werewolf sorcerer in Russian folk tales.
- Q'ursha is based on a legendary dog famous for his loyalty and great jumping skills in Georgian mythology.
- The sole exception of this seems to be Reprobus, who is based on a Christian saint. This may be because his dog-headed depiction is more prominent in Eastern Orthodox Christianity which is dominant in Slavic regions.
