"A Transient from the World of the Old Ones who seems to be perpetually stuck in a fit of manic laughter. His Sacred Artifact, a gleaming metallic arm, can take hold of lightning as if it were a corporeal object, and with his Rule, he can manipulate it just as an ordinary human might manipulate string. Through this, he's able to swing across the sky by grabbing onto beams of celestial light. Not only that, but by taking advantage of the speed of light for travel, he's able to escape even the deepest, darkest abyss with incredible ease. He's known as the One Who Captures, and is also called the Lord of the Great Abyss in his home world. His body is enveloped by demonic familiars with black, rubber-like skin, which allows him to operate as a self-proclaimed ""dark hero"" while keeping his true form hidden. He comes onto the scene from high above, absconding with anything and everything he fancies, including people. Those who've known him for a long time unanimously claim he's not the person he once was—someone sagacious and calm—having become the polar opposite. The reason for this is his existence both as Nodens... and as another. The answer to the riddle of his multiplicitous existence is buried deep within the memories of a Transient from another world—another Nodens of a wildly different disposition."

Transient from the world of Old Ones who is always laughing maniacally. His shining silver arm Sacred Artifact has the power to seize lightning and handle it as though it were thread. By using this, he can grab the light hanging from the sky as though it were a vine and swing himself around. The speed of that flexibility makes it easy for him to escape from the bottom of any abyss. Depending on his home world, his name means either the Catcher or the Lord of the Great Abyss. He is a dark hero who makes secret moves and covers his body with a night ogre familiar that has skin like dark rubber to conceal his identity. He appears from the sky and indiscriminately abducts anything that catches his fancy. But all who know Nodens from his homeworld have one thing in common to say: "he used to be wise and calm, but now he seems like a different person." He is somehow both Nodens and not Nodens. This is due to a memory fragment of another Nodens from a different world.

常に発狂したかのように高笑う、異世界オールドワンズ出身の「転光生」。その輝ける銀腕の「神器」は、雷光を物質としてつかみ、糸のように扱う「権能」を持つ。これを使って、天から垂れ下がる光をツタのようにつかみ、次々に渡って飛んでゆく。また、その伸び縮みの速度を使って、どのような深淵の底からもたやすく脱出できるようだ。故郷における、その異名は「捕まえる者」あるいは「深淵の大帝」。黒いゴムのような皮膚を持つ「夜鬼」の使い魔で体を覆い、正体を隠したまま暗躍する、ダークヒーロー。空より現れ、気に入ったものを手あたり次第にアブダクションしてゆく。しかし、故郷でのノーデンスを知る者は口をそろえて、こう言うらしい。「あれほど聡明で穏やかだったのに、今はまるで別人のようだ」と。それもそのはず、彼はノーデンスであって、しかしノーデンスではない。それはもう1人のノーデンス、別なる異世界の「転光生」の「記憶」、その断片に理由がある。

"Within his body, clad in armor as dark as night, coexist two identities. One of them is that of Nodens, a Transient from the World of the Old Ones. The other is Nuadha, a Transient from the world of Tir na Nog. The presence of two identities in one mind makes this singular being less singular, and thus severely unstable, with each identity perpetually vying for dominance over the other. It's for this reason Nodens defaults to a fatigued, faceless form: that of the Nightgaunts, who are known to possess the dreams of others. However, on the rare occasion that both identities within him share a common intention, he once more displays the wise composure he was previously known for. As one who claims the abyss to be his domain, he feels a sense of admiration toward any who can confront it without fear. Some have also noted his affection toward a particular person, seemingly just for being an enemy to his enemy. He feels a strong sense of fear toward those who, like him, conceal their true selves deep within."

夜の如く黒い装甲で覆われた彼の中には、2つの別人の精神が存在している。1つが、異世界オールドワンズの「転光生」ノーデンスのもの。もう1つが、別の異世界ティルナノグの「転光生」ヌアザであったもの。とある理由から、2つの精神が1つの中に同居しているのだ。そのため、その精神は非常に不安定な状態にあり、互いの意識が主導権を争い合っている。故に、夢に憑りつく、黒く痩せこけた顔のない夜鬼の人格が表層に現れているらしい。ただし、その2つの意思が同じ方向を向いた時には、本来の叡智ある振舞いを見せることもある。深淵の主として、それに臆さず挑む者に対して好意的な感情を持つようだ。また、敵の敵は味方、という理屈から同じく好意を持つ相手がいると噂されている。自分に似て、自分に似ない者を常に畏れる。
