It happened late one night in a dark alley in downtown Shinjuku. Marchosias was summoned from his world only to find himself before a terrified child, and a lethally wounded man. Weakly, the man made a last plea to the summoned demon knight, to take care of his orphan son. Marchosias looked into the eyes of the man who called out to him, seeing a light he never saw in his home. With his deal with a devil complete, the man smiled in relief and closed his eyes for the last time.

Though he is technically a stray summon, Marchosias fulfills the wish of his late summoner nonetheless. Whether there is something special about the boy, or if he is merely a son suffering the sins of his father, Marchosias does not know, but there are many out there who seek to hurt him. But the reason doesn't really matter: he stakes his honor as a knight on his vow to faithfully carry out sincere wishes, and so continues to protect his charge from all comers. What he remains unaware of is the child's knowledge regarding the truth of the incident that opened the world gates, inherited from his late father, and neither yet knows how tremendously this knowledge will affect Tokyo in the future.

Hearing Marchosias's question, the young child shook his head violently. Seems like the child was trying to tell he is fine. Although expressing "I'm fine", the child could be seen concerned with the surroundings. Marchosias was thinking of ways to reassure the young child. At a fraction of a second where he took his eyes and alert away from the child--- "What's wrong kid? Your stomach hurt?" A man approached the young child, and he spoke. Marchosias took a huge leap, and remained in a safe distance. Almost immediately, he took out his sword from his hips flowingly, thrusted it as he confronted the man. If you look closely, You can see the man holding two baby onis on his hand and back. Even though shouting in anger, he carefully protects the babies. Seeing Marchosias apologize with a deep bow, the man scratches his head uneasily. He looks at the young child's face anxiously. The actions made the child feel more comfortable. Looking around, There are some festival stall not far away. Only hoping to return to Shinjuku as soon as possible after work, he totally didn't notice. Taking a glimpse of the child, he was slightly peeping at the stalls. Being talked to, the child immidiately hid behind Marchosias as if he was being poured by water. The man asked while keeping in distance with the child. The boy hesitate for a bit, and then he nodded. Shaking the babies as he speak, As if responding, they giggled loudly. The man in front was a bit worried. He was worried to the bottom of his heart, for a child that he has just met. Why does a man we just met, would treat us with kindness like this...... Notes

Marchosias is another character with basis in the Ars Goetia, depicted as a wolf with gryphon's wings and a serpent tail. Unlike many of his fellow Goetic demons, Marchosias was faithful to his summoners, and cursed his fate as a fallen angel. Though he hoped to one day return to Heaven, that hope would never be rewarded.
