Arachne is always seeking new inspiration for her designs, and she belongs to a guild of expressionists known as the Akihabara Creators. Her reason for living can be felt through her constant improvements for her personal best and her continuing efforts to make her greatest masterpiece. As she is very self-assured, there are many times when she has been seen as haughty. She wants to dress up those with little interest in fashion, though she's under the dilemma over how difficult it is to bring out their charm.

"The thread Arachne spins—her Sacred Artifact—bears a Rule that exposes the deepest, most carefully hidden shadows of those ensnared by it. This includes unconscious desires and deep-rooted anxieties, all of which Arachne's Rule brings to the fore in the form of clothing, giving shape to the patterns she sees and allowing her to make beautiful garments from even the most repressed of insecurities. Back in her home world, this caused quite a stir when Arachne dug up the internal conflicts of an influential superior and put them on display for all to see in the form of a tapestry, resulting in her spider form and subsequent banishment to Tokyo. This spider form gives Arachne some resemblance to a certain other spider, which causes Transients from the world of the Old Ones to regard her with mixed feelings. Ultimately, her greatest (and nearly only) desire is to spread her style far and wide and leave her mark on the fashion world."

The thread Sacred Artifact Arachne spins has the power to bring the spotlight to the hidden things of the people caught in it, namely their Shadows. For example, their hidden complexes and unconscious desires will be materialized as their clothes. As a result, she once made a beautiful tapestry depicting the scandal of one of the most influential people in her home world, which incurred the wrath of another such person. Aside from being able to determine the forms of what her power highlights, Arachne also happens to have the skills to make them into clothes and accessories. She dearly wishes for her works to be recognized by the world at large and to show off her personal fashion brand. Since she resembles a certain spider, she tends to evoke various emotions in a certain Transient from Old Ones.

アラクネが紡ぐ糸の「神器」は、糸にかかった相手が隠すもの、すなわち「影」を際立たせる「権能」を帯びている。それは例えば、秘められたコンプレックスを、無意識の願望を、服として具現化してしまうもの。その為に、かつて彼女は故郷にて有力者の醜聞をタペストリーへと見事に現してしまい、ある者の怒りを買った。「権能」により際立たせたその形状を見極め、服飾として生産する技術も持ち合わせている。自らの作品を広く世に認めさせ、己が「モード」を世に示すことを強く望んでいる。とある蜘蛛に似ていることから、オールドワンズ出身の「転光生」からは様々な感情を寄せられがちである。
