Official English "Hecate, an attendee of liberal arts-centric Akihabara Academy, bears a Knife as her Sacred Artifact which is used both to aid in the creation of all things, and as a flame through its Rule to help serve as a guiding light for those who traverse worlds. She was widely revered for these powers back in her home world, but here in Tokyo, she almost exclusively uses this Knife to aid her in her many hobbyist pursuits, employing its powers of creation in particular to help with production. She spends most days like this, losing herself in her many passions and fantasies, but there's always a nagging voice in the back of her head that asks, what if you yourself could fall in love one day? What then? She believes her Role, her isolation, to perhaps be one of the sparks that light the creative fire within her, however, so she always quickly dismisses these notions in order to let it burn as brightly as it can. But this doesn't stop these thoughts from disrupting her, with her school life in particular suffering the most from it: when others pay attention to her and treat her with admiration, she has a tendency to get flustered and run, creating a rift between her and her would-be school friends. It has the power to help with the creator or birth of all things and the flame it lights can guide travelers who cross all over the world. In her home world this power is the reason many respected her, but now Hekate uses that characteristic for her group activities and create many works. Every day she devotes herself to her wild fantasies and creations, but sometimes a certain thought comes to her: what if she found love? Translated from Japanese Despite calling herself the forever alone unpopular plain Jane, she is the shipper witch who will ship everyone in every way. Back in her home world, Hecate had little to no fond memories of summer. Summer was the time of love for the normies in relationships, the time of the year to remind her of how totally not in a relationship she was despite how she felt about that. She screws her body into pretzels when she remembers the dark days of cringe trying to fight it in so many ways, but this summer she's feeling the sparks of love again in what's supposed to be her cold dead heart of personal romance. Somewhere in her heart, Hecate knows what's different this time compared to before. She tried to pluck up her courage and express how she felt, but she never understood until now. Still, the feelings she's holding are trying to take on a new form because in Tokyo there is no one way to express love. For example, you could put it in a fictional piece of work and secretly give it to the one who's on your mind. The meaning of the name "the third Hecate" is being reborn here and now. • Hecate is based on the Ancient Greek goddess of witchcraft. Her status as a Canine Therian, as well as her knife Sacred Artifact are references to dogs and daggers being Hecate's symbols.
  • She's also based on the witch queen of the same name in William Shakespeare's play, Macbeth.
  • In LifeWonders' merchandise shop, Hecate's can badge is represented with the colors of Yggdrasil and Tir na nOg. Her research file and role as a goddess of witchcraft suggests that she might also be Morgan le Fay and Hel (the latter is supported by the mention of Fenrir's sister in his research file).
• Her Charge Skill line Hecates Trimorphos means "Hecate of three forms" in Greek and references how Hecate was often depicted with three faces or forms, especially at three-way crossroads.
