His full name is Jugo Kushinada (櫛稲田ジュウゴ).
His last name, Kushinada, may be a reference to Kushinadahime, the wife of the Shinto god Susanoo.
Yamata-no-Orochi is an eight headed dragon to whom daughters were sacrificed from the myth of Susanoo.
Jugo, despite being generally overlooked in the rest of the game, shares a loading screen with Arsalan, with the latter flipping poor Jugo (and Orochi) stating "Your training is Lacking." (修行が足らん.)
