Licht's summoner mark is located on the back of his right hand and has the appearance of six bent arrows pointing inward and converging at the center.

I don't think he's meant to be completely based off of Hitler. In his 'research files' it states that he just likes wearing military uniforms and that he is, indeed, half german. The outfit may be a little 'hmm' but it probably is just based on stereotypical military uniforms (especially ones found in other anime that are usually based off of the military uniforms of the germans back in the early 1900s) and the red armband doesn't necessarily correlate with nazis but instead just show how he is a leader (literally the guild master of the Tycoons). The red armband shows a lot in different animes and normally signify that that character (usually a teen like Licht) is the leader of something
How the character looks in his vanilla appearance: Hooo boy, here we go. The Major from Hellsing version 2.0 with a whole lot more yikes.
How the character actually is: Socially awkward "tries to be cool but comes across as a lovable dork" transfer student "bad guy" with a heart of gold.
Like, I think it's almost kind of funny how little his (Admittedly eye raising.) vanilla appearance has factored into his character, if at all. Even if played as a military otaku fetish. You could even put him in another outfit (other than 5 star unfortunately.) and it's like it'd never come up. Even his half german ethnicity is just...kinda there, worth an awkward transfer student joke scene or two.
I get that he's not supposed to be based off Hitler, but his design gives the impression of a German soldier, they go on and on about what a great painter he is, he's wearing a red armband... How can you cram all that into a character and never once worry that they may come off as a bit of a nazi? Seriously, just lose the armband! That's all it would take to make a huge difference.
