Personality
Asterius is a large, burly bull who very often distances himself from others. He has a habit of stuttering and putting himself down such as calling himself a "monster." He possesses superhuman strength as well a temper that causes him to go erratic and destroy things involuntarily. This further convinces Asterius that he is a "monster" and is adamant about not letting anyone suffer by it. On an unnamed island, he opens his heart when the protagonist and Kijimuna became his first friends. He cares deeply for his friends especially Kijimuna and doesn't hesitate to help or protect them. After the events on the island, it is implied he developed feelings for the protagonist.

Love this big sensitive huggable boy, but his kit is completely left in the dust these days from power creep, especially Island with its appalling skill activation rates. Hoping he'll get actual skill evos soon

Asterius is still excellent DPS but he is Glass Cannon Dps! Extremely Glass Cannon
Yeah he needs major upgrade, he and a lot of the first units ingame suffer from outdated skill kits :/
Least they can do for this poor guy is give him some skill evolutions for the new year event. His entire kit can fit into a single skill for some of the newer event variants.
He's hot as hell, but he's also absolutely ridiculous as a unit. He hits like a truck thanks to his LB3. Maybe some of the highest DPS a single target is capable of in the game.
